Twat, the bus didn't just appear he'd have had plenty of time to observe what was going to happen and adjust he's speed position and above all attitude to allow everyone to get on with their day stress free.

The bus had right of way. If the bike reached the far end of the parked cars and bus attempted to pass, it would have been the biker’s right of way. As a transport manager, reversing with passengers onboard is not advisable and I’m a biker too. The biker is at fault.

As a biker myself, I find it's best to not argue with vehicles much bigger than me as there's usually only one winner.

I understand bus drivers are instructed not to reverse a bus unless it's 'safe' to do so, probably never safe unless you have an experienced banksman

Bus blocking the riders right of way, should have waited until the road was clear before crossing over the center line. Was one of the first rules of the road I was taught. Bus in the wrong. Don't think many bother with those rules today though, too arrogant to wait.
