I‘m the female version of the character in that video. I appreciate the message that JL are attempting to send out ..but I will be switching channels whenever that ad aires.. It‘s just too raw at such a challenging time of the year for those of us who have lost our loved ones.

I had 3 heart attacks in February followed by a Quadruple Heart Bypass - last Christmas could easy have been my last but thanks to our fab #NHS I have this one and hopefully a lot more to look forward to - the advert got to me too Enjoy today tomorrow isn’t promised 💙💙💙💙💙

Oh gosh, that really pulled at my heart strings. My sister-in-law, walking partner and very good friend was fine this time last year; she now has dementia. She won’t even know when it’s Christmas. 😢 😢 Give your family and friends an extra hug, tell them you love them. Now.

So sad seeing this advert from John Lewis. Please buy the single it’s for a good cause. I work in the care industry have dine for almost 31 years. I have worked every Christmas from 2001 as my mum passed then and my parents ( both deceased celebrated Xmas ! I’d rather work Xmas❤️
