If you are in walking distance of a red line train and heading towards Largo/ New Carrollton. Take red line to gallery place, take green/ yellow to l’efant plaza. Then you can continue your trip on the silver or orange line.

Those Ikeja Capital City axis people will soon start tormenting us with drone videos of their own trains like this once its retrofitted 🙄 But honestly, LAMATA is going to cash out from the redline axis. A large number of Lagosians live here, and the corridor serves multiple major markets,this is going to be massive. You can also see the planning: the Blue Line was designed to serve key trading corridors, while the Red Line connects other major commercial zones. That’s smart thinking from Gov Jide Sanwo-Olu. Three train sets of eight coaches is a solid start. Those old US/UK trains were Vgly ,I hope they’re either scrapped or kept only for emergencies. For those paying high rent in central Lagos, this might be the best time to consider places like Agbado. With the assess roads under construction, you can live more affordably and still get into Lagos within a reasonable time. Wow,This is how to generate steady revenue and grow the city. The restoration and reopening of Union Station 25 years ago, made possible by the shared commitment of citizens on both sides of the state line, marked a turning point for our city. Since then, our downtown has been reimagined and revitalized, earning recognition across the nation and beyond. We are vital and vibrant and ready for the next big step... downtown baseball. This is a truly generational opportunity rooted in both history and hope. Long before today, baseball teams and ballparks (some now remembered only in name) laid the foundation for baseball in our historic core. Included are the Unions at Athletic Park in 1884. The Kansas City Cowboys at League Park in 1886. The Royal Giants at Shelley Park in 1910. The Packers at Gordon & Koppel Field beginning in 1913. The Kansas City Blues at Association Park in the early 1920s, before moving in 1923, along with the Monarchs, to what would eventually be called Municipal Stadium. In 1955, the Athletics started playing in a nearly entirely rebuilt Municipal Stadium, followed by the Royals in 1969, before their move to Royals Stadium in 1973. Yes, that’s a boot on my foot. Stress fracture. Fun, right? But instead of throwing a pity party, I’m choosing progress. Setback? Nah. This is just a plot twist. I’m using this time to focus on what I can do—building a rock-solid foundation. When this boot comes off, I won’t be ‘getting back to it.’ I’ll already be in it. Stronger. Ready to roll. Boot or no boot, I’m making moves. Shifting my perspective hasn’t always come naturally. A few years ago, an injury like this would have thrown me off course completely—leading to unhealthy eating, isolation, and a downward spiral of bad habits. Mindset shifts aren’t easy, and sometimes you need support. I know I did. I hired a coach to keep me accountable, teamed up with a workout buddy for extra support, and put systems in place to stay motivated and on track. Commuters Caught in Crossfire as PSV Operators and Boda Boda Riders Clash in Kamulu Over Transport Routes Residents of Acre Tano in the satellite town of Kamulu are raising alarm over rising cases of harassment and violence allegedly perpetrated by boda boda operators who are resisting the introduction of public service vehicles (PSVs) on the route. Commuters say boda boda riders, who charge between Ksh 200 and Ksh 400 for short distances, have violently opposed matatu services that offer a more affordable alternative. PSV operators attempting to establish routes in the area have reportedly been attacked, with passengers and crew members injured in the process. Despite notifying the police about the security threats, residents claim that law enforce officers have failed to intervene effectively. "Good morning, kindly hide my ID. I wish to bring to the attention of concerned police authorities and NTSA regarding harassment and attacks against residents of Acre Tano in Kamulu by boda boda operators. About a month ago, PSV operator Atomic Shuttle began operating a route from Bus Station in town to Kamulu Acre Tano through Kanisani Road, bringing much-needed and affordable transport to the residents. They charged Ksh 150 for the trip. However, boda boda operators, who charge residents between Ksh 200 and Ksh 400 from Kangundo Road at Kanisani to Acre Tano, reacted violently. They attacked passengers and crew of Atomic Shuttle, blocked the public road at Kanisani Stage, and disrupted the transport arrangement, leaving residents vulnerable to the high prices set by boda boda operators. As a result, a trip that initially cost Ksh 150 now ends up costing Ksh 350 one way to town. Yesterday, Forward Sacco Shuttle began operating in the morning. However, in the evening, the Forward Shuttle was attacked, passengers were assaulted, and a tout was beaten and injured by boda boda operators. This happened despite prior notification to the police requesting protection for both residents and the vehicle. Currently, the buses only operate one trip in the morning at 5 am and one trip in the evening. The Ruai and Mbili Mbili police seem powerless to stop these attacks. We need help. In the early morning hours, residents also have to contend with hyenas, dust, and poor road conditions. When it rains, the roads become impassable, and boda bodas charge Ksh 400 for a 4km distance, with some riders choosing not to operate at all.
