If you are in walking distance of a red line train and heading towards Largo/ New Carrollton. Take red line to gallery place, take green/ yellow to l’efant plaza. Then you can continue your trip on the silver or orange line.

Those Ikeja Capital City axis people will soon start tormenting us with drone videos of their own trains like this once its retrofitted 🙄 But honestly, LAMATA is going to cash out from the redline axis. A large number of Lagosians live here, and the corridor serves multiple major markets, this is going to be massive. You can also see the planning: the Blue Line was designed to serve key trading corridors, while the Red Line connects other major commercial zones. That’s smart thinking from Gov Jide Sanwo-Olu. Three train sets of eight coaches is a solid start. Those old US/UK trains were Vgly ,I hope they’re either scrapped or kept only for emergencies. For those paying high rent in central Lagos, this might be the best time to consider places like Agbado. With the assess roads under construction, you can live more affordably and still get into Lagos within a reasonable time. Wow,This is how to generate steady revenue and grow the city. Thank you Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority LAMATA Kolawole Ojelabi Oluwaseun Osiyemi The rail system is a game-changer. And for my people along the Lekki Peninsula, we are together. don’t worry, your line is coming, and it will be even more beautiful with our iconic civic center starion down to our own new airport Lekki InternationalAirport station. For now, let’s enjoy with our Blue Line and Red Line brothers and sisters 😁 🎥: Blue line Rail serving Marina to Mile 2 in transit 🚅

Tonight, Union Station shines in blue, white and gold for the next generation of Royals baseball and its historic return to the heart of our community. The restoration and reopening of Union Station 25 years ago, made possible by the shared commitment of citizens on both sides of the state line, marked a turning point for our city. Since then, our downtown has been reimagined and revitalized, earning recognition across the nation and beyond. We are vital and vibrant and ready for the next big step... downtown baseball. This is a truly generational opportunity rooted in both history and hope. Long before today, baseball teams and ballparks (some now remembered only in name) laid the foundation for baseball in our historic core. Included are the Unions at Athletic Park in 1884. The Kansas City Cowboys at League Park in 1886. The Royal Giants at Shelley Park in 1910. The Packers at Gordon & Koppel Field beginning in 1913. The Kansas City Blues at Association Park in the early 1920s, before moving in 1923, along with the Monarchs, to what would eventually be called Municipal Stadium. In 1955, the Athletics started playing in a nearly entirely rebuilt Municipal Stadium, followed by the Royals in 1969, before their move to Royals Stadium in 1973. So, we look ahead with clarity and optimism and are listening carefully for the details of downtown baseball to be shared. And while that process plays out, we’re excited about the opportunity to bring baseball’s legends, legacy, and love back to the place where it all began. It’s time to welcome downtown baseball home once again, for all of Kansas City.

Commuters Caught in Crossfire as PSV Operators and Boda Boda Riders Clash in Kamulu Over Transport Routes Residents of Acre Tano in the satellite town of Kamulu are raising alarm over rising cases of harassment and violence allegedly perpetrated by boda boda operators who are resisting the introduction of public service vehicles (PSVs) on the route. Commuters say boda boda riders, who charge between Ksh 200 and Ksh 400 for short distances, have violently opposed matatu services that offer a more affordable alternative. PSV operators attempting to establish routes in the area have reportedly been attacked, with passengers and crew members injured in the process. Despite notifying the police about the security threats, residents claim that law enforce officers have failed to intervene effectively. "Good morning, kindly hide my ID. I wish to bring to the attention of concerned police authorities and NTSA regarding harassment and attacks against residents of Acre Tano in Kamulu by boda boda operators. About a month ago, PSV operator Atomic Shuttle began operating a route from Bus Station in town to Kamulu Acre Tano through Kanisani Road, bringing much-needed and affordable transport to the residents. They charged Ksh 150 for the trip. However, boda boda operators, who charge residents between Ksh 200 and Ksh 400 from Kangundo Road at Kanisani to Acre Tano, reacted violently. They attacked passengers and crew of Atomic Shuttle, blocked the public road at Kanisani Stage, and disrupted the transport arrangement, leaving residents vulnerable to the high prices set by boda boda operators. As a result, a trip that initially cost Ksh 150 now ends up costing Ksh 350 one way to town. Yesterday, Forward Sacco Shuttle began operating in the morning. However, in the evening, the Forward Shuttle was attacked, passengers were assaulted, and a tout was beaten and injured by boda boda operators. This happened despite prior notification to the police requesting protection for both residents and the vehicle. Currently, the buses only operate one trip in the morning at 5 am and one trip in the evening. The Ruai and Mbili Mbili police seem powerless to stop these attacks. We need help. In the early morning hours, residents also have to contend with hyenas, dust, and poor road conditions. When it rains, the roads become impassable, and boda bodas charge Ksh 400 for a 4km distance, with some riders choosing not to operate at all. The PSV buses had provided much-needed relief to the residents. Kindly highlight this plight for us."

STAY VIGILANT: The Hidden Danger on Interstate 40 Did you know that I-40 is often cited as one of the most dangerous stretches of highway in the country? Whether you're driving through Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, or New Mexico, the "Highway of Killers" is more than just a chilling nickname—it’s a call to remain hyper-aware of your surroundings. 🛣️🔦 One of the most terrifying tactics used by predators is the "Backseat Ambush." Even in a well-lit rest stop, it only takes a moment for someone to slip into your vehicle while you’re inside. With tinted windows and dark interiors, a person can remain completely invisible until you’re miles away from help. 🌑🚗 5 Essential Safety Rules for Your Next Road Trip: 1. Lock. Every. Time. Never leave your car unlocked, even for a "quick" 2-minute bathroom break. 2. The Backseat Check: Before getting in, shine your phone light into the back floorboards and seats. Make it a non-negotiable habit. 4. Stay Off the Phone: Distraction is a predator’s best friend. Keep your head on a swivel until you are safely locked inside your car. 4. The Check-In System: Always share your live location with a friend or family member. Text them at every single stop. 5. Avoid Solo Night Drives: If possible, plan your route to stay off desolate stretches of I-40 during late-night hours. Your safety is worth the extra 30 seconds of caution. Don’t let yourself become a statistic. Stay sharp, stay connected, and always trust your gut. 🔁 REPOST to spread the word—you might just save a life today. 💬 COMMENT your own road trip safety tips below.

I met Kenya’s failure today at Mwiki, near the railway line and it has nothing to do with laziness, culture, or excuses politicians like to hide behind. It has everything to do with broken systems and careless gatekeepers. A 17-year-old girl, Jamila Wanjiku, selling boiled eggs and smokies a few metres from Mwiki Police Station. I wasn’t hungry. I just asked the price. KSh 40 per sausage. The last time I bought one under Uhuru it was 25, maybe 30. Inflation is not an economic debate it’s eating children alive. We talked. I asked for her WhatsApp number. Then the truth came out, slowly, painfully: She dropped out of school in January 2025. Not because she wanted to. Not because she failed. Not because she misbehaved. School fees. Her donor pulled out and said, “I can’t even feed my own children.” That sentence alone should shame every office holding public power. Jamila was a student at St. Theresa Ruai. Her classmates are now in Form Four. She is standing by a railway line, hawking smokies, inhaling smoke, running from askaris, learning survival instead of chemistry. This is not leadership failure at the top. This is failure by people around leadership. So let me be clear and fair: Hon. Ronald Hon Captain Ronald Karauri, MP Kasarani Constituency I know you value education. I know your track record. I know your heart is not hard. But the people around you are failing you. Your office has become noisy with politics but deaf to silent suffering. Your gatekeepers are filtering loyalty instead of need. Your systems are catching headlines but missing children. Jamila didn’t fall through the cracks she was ignored by them. This girl is not asking for sympathy. She is asking for what the Constitution already promised her: education. Hon. Karauri, this is not an attack it’s an appeal. Cut through the noise. Bypass the brokers. Ignore the politics. Help this child get back to school. Because every day Jamila sells smokies near that railway line, it’s not your reputation that suffers it’s the reputation of the people you trusted to listen for you. And if we cannot rescue a single 17-year-old girl from the roadside, then all our speeches about education are just noise.

2 out of 3 adults suffer from broken sleep. It silently wrecks your testosterone, ages your brain faster, & weakens your immune system. Use these 7 tips to fall asleep faster & for longer:🧵 1. Stop waking up very early Your body doesn’t care about 5 AM — it cares about consistency. Set a fixed sleep & wake time (yes, even on weekends). That rhythm trains your brain to fall asleep faster & wake up with real energy. 2. Get morning sunlight within 30 minutes of waking Your eyes need natural light to reset your body’s internal clock. Just 10 minutes of sunlight tells your brain it’s daytime, boosting: • Mood • Energy • Alertness Now, your body knows by when to "get tired". 3. Optimize bedroom temperature Your body needs to cool down by about 1°C (2°F) to fall asleep. The optimal temperature? Keep your room between 60–67°F (15–19°C) — it’s the sweet spot for deep sleep. 4. Take magnesium 50–70% of adults are magnesium deficient. Magnesium glycinate (200–400 mg): • Helps your body drift into deep sleep • Calms your nervous system • Lowers cortisol Take it 30-60 minutes before bed. This blend contains Magnesium Glycinate, L-Theanine, & 7 other sleep nutrients. Find it here (AMAZON PRODUCT LINK): 5. No caffeine after 2PM Adenosine is the chemical building up in your brain to make you feel sleepy. Well, caffeine blocks it. Even an afternoon coffee can reduce deep sleep by 20–30%... 6. No blue-light 60 minutes before bed Your brain thinks blue light = daytime. Screens, LEDs, & bright overhead lights block melatonin & delay deep sleep: 7. Last meal 2 hours before bed Late-night eating spikes blood sugar & body temperature. Give your digestive system time to rest so your body can focus on recovery, not digestion: *Every body works differently, this is not medical advice, just what worked on me." *Always consult a health expert before following any protocols." *Affiliate links included.* How many hours do you sleep at night? If not enough, will you try any of these tips? Let me know in the comments. I'm 21 & obsessed with health. If you liked this tweet: 1. Follow Achilleas for more 2. Repost to help more people I'll see you in the next one!

What Jacob just laid out raises an important question: If the biggest banks and institutions are going hard after Bitcoin exposure, actively launching products and positioning for the future, why wouldn’t you take the same bet they do? 🚨 A testimony from the heart of the White House in 1948: They asked him, “Were many Jews against you as well?” U.S. President Harry Truman—the first to recognize Israel within 11 minutes of the declaration—replied, “Well, there were many Jews against me because they wanted all of Palestine.” Then he said: “You can’t take 5 or 6 million people out of a country, fill it with another 5 or 6 million, and expect both groups to be satisfied.” Then he admitted: “We went ahead and did it and got it done. We had all kinds of objections to everything that was done.” His words were not merely an opinion, but an admission from the decision-maker himself. He admits three things: ① The goal from the start was “all of Palestine,” not partition or coexistence. ② What happened was a complete demographic replacement. Replacing one people with another. It is impossible for anyone to be satisfied. ③ They ignored all objections and pushed through the plan despite the reservations. Today, more than 75 years later, the packaging has changed but the project remains the same. The maneuver is the same: a peace agreement here, normalization there, and a temporary truce that masks permanent expansion. And the result? More stolen land, more trampled rights, and no one is satisfied. The difference this time: there are those who have understood the game from the very beginning. There are those who see that the solution lies not in “managing the occupation” but in ending it. There are those who state clearly: no peace without a full state, and no normalization without an irreversible path. Those who read history are not fooled by the tricks of geography. Palestine is not a testing ground, rights are not granted in installments, and peace is not made through substitution. Truman said it yesterday: They wanted all of Palestine. And history has not contradicted him. What is happening today is not peace, but the completion of what they began.
