Blue Peter (15th May 1972). Lesley Judd makes her first BP appearance, although not as a presenter (instead, as a Young Generation dancer, she was on hand to put Val, Pete and John through their performing paces). Lesley would be credited as a BP presenter from June 1972 onwards.

If this talented young woman was seen as “us”, then Israel murdering her would be a cause celebre, widely denounced as a heinous crime. But she is instead “them”, not quite human, and therefore her killing easily ignored, as if it never even happened.

Ethel Kennedy was there as soon as I entered political office in 1972 when I lost my family in an automobile accident. And she was there for me 50 years later when I was elected president. She was a hero in her own right. May she be reunited with the blessed pieces of her soul.

Raffaella Carrà: A far l'amore comincia tu (1976). A song so good it was translated into four languages and was a hit for over three years. Carrà was an artist who seemed to do it all: an actress (you may remember her from Von Ryan's Express), a singer, a TV presenter in Italy, Spain and Argentina as well as something of a fashion icon.

Carmela Clutch revealed that her past relationship ended because her partner was more in love with her public persona than the real person behind it. She explained that he constantly put “Carmela Clutch” on a pedestal instead of getting to know Cece, which made the relationship feel unnatural. Although she described him as a genuinely kind person, she said he was always star-struck around her and couldn’t keep up with her personality, leading her to realize they were better off as friends than as a couple. “He puts you on a pedestal as Carmela Clutch and not as Cece… He was still almost like star-struck around me and it made it very awkward.”

Jada Pinkett Smith speaks about the 2022 Oscars incident involving Will Smith and Chris Rock. She says that when she saw Chris come out as a presenter, she told Will he wasn’t going to be able to help himself. When Chris made the joke, she looked at Will because she knew it was coming. She also reveals that she and Will hadn’t referred to each other as husband and wife since 2016, so she was surprised when he called her his wife. She says she attended the Oscars as family, not as Will’s wife. “When i first saw Chris name come up on stage as one of the presenter, I looked at Will and I say he’s not gonna be able to help himself, this is gonna be something, i knew. So when Chris said what he said i looked to Will as if to say see, i knew it. And then i was like that’s not cool to talk about a medical condition that can’t be cured. There was an aspect of that i was as shocked as anyone because Will and I hadn’t been referring to eachother as husband and wife since 2016, i was like wife? Me? That’s right I am your wife. And i came as family I actually didn’t go to the oscars as Will’s wife”

This deadly backflip, Dead Loop, is one of the most life-threatening tricks and its also known as the Korbut Flip because it was first performed by Belarusian gymnast Olga Korbut in 1972 at the Munich Olympics. However, the trick was only documented once and was banned in 1972 due to its dangerous nature 😲🤸‍♀️ She gained a 9.8/10 by standing on a high bar and performing a backflip before gripping the bar again. Korbut has forever etched her name in gymnastics history for the finesse she flaunted while performing the Dead Loop back. (Via: The Olympic Games™)

Her name was Diana Bahador. She was 19 years old. A student from Gonbad-e Kavus. People knew her as “Baby Rider” because she loved riding motorcycles. She was killed by the regime in Iran while protesting for freedom. In a country where even a woman on a bicycle can be treated as a violation of “morality,” her love of riding was part of something bigger: a generation of young women refusing to live quietly under repression.

I think as more and more gamers get older, this may be more common. From News 5 Cleveland : A 91 year old grandmother was given a welfare check after not responding to her family. She was in her room trying to beat her record. No word on what she was playing.
