@vfennalvarado It's better to install a temporary fixture that captures water than to potentially compromise structural safety. It's really just the capture system, it doesn't have to be flat. Just effective. And yes, something can be designed that snow is constantly melted and captured.

@vfennalvarado We’ve used cisterns and rainwater capture for years. Roofs as with green roofs compromise structure. We do have 4 seasons to contend with. Every house would have a green roof otherwise. Can you say PV’s…

On asking if he eventually found help, a second message came in that the Kenyan had died. What happened in between? How old is the video ? What steps could have been put in place to help him ? This is so unfortunate, may he rest in peace .

Something that’s been on my head and mind for the last week. Had a 17 year old work for me last week (just a day job). He has a 14 year old girlfriend, and they have a 4 month old baby. Don’t believe in abortion, praise God. I asked how I could help and he asked for a job. I don’t have any consistent work in that area. I have reached out to a few companies trying to help him get a job. He lives in an area that was decimated by Obama’s war on coal. He has no family support as he moved out at 15 cause his parents are on drugs. I’m looking for suggestions and ideas as to how we could help this young family.

I will never ever ask what’s wrong of offer help if I wasn’t actually going to help. I see accidents on the highway almost daily, especially in the winter, if I am going to stop I always call the police first so I know help is on the way for them and for me if things go south. A woman was in an accident and she’s going car to car begging for help. She thought these people were going to help her and jumped in there. At only for them to boot her out. What would you do though, would you let her in the car? To me it could be a setup or they could have serious injuries would t want anything to happen. I wouldn’t let them in the car. People will criticize because they aren’t in this position or it hasn’t happened to them. I say unless I am equipped to help, I won’t. But I will always call for help. I feel that’s the best thing we can do in most of these cases and if anyone else has anything to say about it they don’t know what they are talking about.
