BN really trying for those specific time TCG drops… 💀 Credit IG u/trevonsession

Not a child in sight 😅

Probably in school

We did wristbands for the first 40 people because we had 38 ETB boxes. We limited everything to 1 per person each item

That’s a smart way to do it

I kept wanting to yell out "hey that guy got two!" And let chaos reign

People would’ve lost it. My Bn closed and I don’t bother driving out of my way. One store here had 50 waiting and had some issue with the set up

We had a bunch of people but a lot at the back of the line would come in and ask if its worth it and we'd be like "eh you probably wont get much if youre back of the line". Same with people who called. Wasn't worth coming in for if you weren't already in line

Frankly disgusting behavior. Grown ass people in the middle of a weekday running and shoving OVER POKEMON OMG

Pokemon scalpers are so childish. Not because they are scaling but the absolutely shitty way they treat people just to secure whatever it is they are trying to get.

Mine gave out 20 tickets and said everyone with a ticket would get 2 of each sku. She walked out after person 9 and said whoops guess I counted wrong it’s all gone. The crowd lost it and they called the cops 😂

That’s so sad but a little funny

It was haha. I saw similar activity across my timeline. B&N will hopefully stick to non scheduled releases moving forward. The workers aren’t trained well enough. The manager lady who called the cops was crying saying “We aren’t target or best buy we don’t know how to do this”

It’s not that hard to figure out. They really need guidance from upper management

Might just be my store but there is a stronger sense of dislike for tcg at B&N then any other store. If you walk in and even look behind the counter you get glared at. Some customers tried to help diffuse tensions early on in my drop. Manager said they were belittling her. Nuts

If they can’t handle it then tell Bn and make it online only. No interactions then. I had one interaction at Bn and it was over Lorcana. She wouldn’t sell 2 of a booster pack. They had no signage saying it’s 1 per…

You nailed the most frustrating part. The inconsistency in policy & limits. Mine would never let you take more than a single product total. But on 30th they suddenly did 2 of every sku. 9 people with 250 dollar checkouts. Instead of 1 item each which would have resulted in no cop

They need collectors working for the company. Every single one has some kind of issue. It would help if they listened to customer input to improve

These store managers gotta be doing this to just laugh at people

Poor scooter person? Let hope they didn’t run them over

My generation, has ruined the fun, of what my generation once had. The last five years have been the worst of the last 30 to be a Pokémon fan.

Yes they need to develop a queue system of some sort that Randomly assigns you to come and your name needs to match your id on your Barnes and noble free account

All the people that hated scalpers turned into scalpers

Wish they would limit a bit more.

Stores should really have a proper system for these drops.

Timed drops IRL. That guy in the wheelchair had no chance. I'd bring my son who's on the track team lol

Ours was at 4pm, 2 per SKU, did not last long and line was ridiculous

Barnes created this chaos out of thin air supposedly so kids had a chance to get Pokemon after school
