❗ BOAR ‘STUD’ FARM EXPOSÉ We went undercover inside Innovis, a semen ‘collection’ centre in Norfolk. For the first time, we’ve shone a light on the nightmarish lives of ‘working boars’ who are exploited for their semen. They’re imprisoned for years in concrete pens, never being allowed outdoors. In... a tirade of physical and verbal abuse, workers stabbed pigs with pitchforks, struck them with plastic piping and kicked them in their faces and testes. The boars had nowhere to hide and had no choice but to give in and comply; their ability to consent was never questioned. To increase the boars’ libidos, staff injected them with Enzaprost, an off-label drug which comes with side effects like incoordination, irritation and vomiting. We caught a despairing scene on camera as a worker aggressively yelled at a boar for “puking his f*cking guts up”. We must demand transparency and accountability and push for an urgent end to pig farming. Tonight in Bonteheuwel, following a call from residents, we removed a drug addict who had been abusing and terrorising his 62 year old mother and their family. For 6 years, this man subjected his mother, their family and the entire street to abuse and violence. He assaulted her, threw urine on her, broke their doors and windows, and openly used tik with his gang friends. A certain councillor did nothing to help the community who begged for intervention…but tonight we stepped in to end his abuse! We will be following up on this matter with SAPS and DSD.

But ultimately, it turned out to be great for them, and it turned out to be great for the people of Gaza.

🇺🇸 Having attended the parade, and the Army 250th festival on the National Mall before it, I agree with Senator John Fetterman. This had nothing to do with Donald J. Trump & his birthday & any political party and everything to do with showing respect & gratitude for the Army. I spoke with countless soldiers today, from recent enlistees to 3-star Generals. Shook their hands. Listened to their stories. Spent a lot of time with a Blackhawk pilot and his wife & kids, even riding back on the Metro with them, exchanging numbers and promising to keep in touch. I’ve never met such honorable, HUMBLE, strong people in my life. We are blessed to have the U.S. Army protecting us. And today was a day JUST for them. It made be even prouder to be an American and even more thankful for the sacrifices of our service members. God bless 🙏 all of them and their families who share them with all of us. 🇺🇸

Today on our pilgrimage we met with the Nasser family on their farm, now commonly known as the Tent of Nations - located south of Bethlehem in occupied Palestine. The Nasser family are a Palestinian Christian family who have owned this farm for over 100 years. But 35 years ago, the Israeli authorities declared his farm and the surrounding area to be State land. Ever since then, the family have been engaged in a struggle to register and protect their farm. And with each passing year, settlements encroach on more and more of their land. But the Nassars continue their Tent of Nations work with steadfast nonviolence and faith, living their message every day: “We refuse to be enemies.” They are an example of creative, hopeful, Christian resistance to injustice and they need the support of Christians around the world. During my visit today I had the honour of planting an olive tree on the Nasser farm. At a time when many Palestinian Christians are leaving, olive trees are a symbol of their deep roots in this land. As this tree grows, I pray that peace grows too in Palestine and Israel. Please pray for the Nasser family, Palestinian Christians and all those working for a just peace in the Holy Land.

Pocha the elephant was stolen and lived in captivity in a zoo in Argentina for over 20 years. Her daughter, Guillermina, was born there, both living in a small concrete pit enclosure, never eating the wild grasses or playing in the mud. The people who ran the zoo decided to do the right thing for the animals and began finding sanctuaries for them. An elephant sanctuary in Brazil agreed to take Pocha and Guillermina and plans were made for the transfer. The girls seemed to understand what was happening and the zoo staff were emotional as they said goodbye. It took several days for them to overcome their initial fear of the larger space at the sanctuary but they eventually moved out of their barn into the yard and began to explore and play. They had no idea how much their lives had changed for the better!

A Baloch Girl speaking about the closure of girls' schools in Paroom, Panjgur. As she bravely says, their parents happily allow them for their studies, but the government has shut down the schools and not providing them with facilities for their studies. The schools are closed for years due to lack of teachers and other basic facilities. The students, mostly girls of Paroom, organized a protest demanding facilitation in schools. As per, Baloch Literacy Campaign report, there are sixteen schools which are closed in Paroom. Most of them are girls schools. We appreciate this small struggle of the students and are happy to see them raising their voice for their education. As people left from outside HMP Bronzefield I captured the moment when police arrested DR Ayo a highly respected doctor who had been advocating for 18 hours outside Bronzefield for an Ambulance for Qesser. I watched on for hours as he relentlessly pleaded and begged for an ambulance, I watched in time and time ago as he gave them his credentials which include working with prisoners and offering his GMC number for checks to be carried out. Yet after the ambulance left, after we cleaned up any rubbish left and said our goodbyes the police swooped in to arrest Dr Ayo.
