What does a synthesizer concerto sound like? 🎼 Check out this excerpt from the Synthesizer Concerto world premier by Gabriel Prokofiev - performed by Casa da Música + soloist Inna Faliks on a Minimoog Model D. In this section the Minimoog has a driving melody that references both early acid house and classical music. Inna adjusts the Filter to increase the drama, then at the end of the clip, the 1st violins produce an imitation of a synth pitch-bend, giving Inna time to reprogram the sound of the synth.
