From the manga, I got the impression most of the comedy (maybe a good part of the plot) might've been made on the spot due to the author not managing really well under the weekly deadline. It's something magical.

If I have one criticism of Bobobo it's just that the show has so much ADHD that it forgets whatever it's doing about every two minutes and so keeping up with it takes more attentiveness than you'd think.

1960s anime girls follow a completely different evolutionary path. The mannequin Demon from Akuma Kun is a great example of that. It was a reflection of the time, while also being super spooky. Shame she got thrown into a Wind Turbine. I really love this design.

For Bo, Forever… Today’s new episode is the most important thing we’ll ever make. This past January, Bo & I interviewed each other intimately about our respective upbringings, families, friends, and the result is a raw, personal, and cathartic nearly 3 hour conversation. It didn’t feel right to post at the time, but in this new light, I feel it is the greatest gift imaginable. This is the first of our 3 final projects with our best friend Bo. We loved making them, and I hope you enjoy them all. Thank you for the love & support, and for being so kind to Bo. I love you buddy bo.
