Wealth without productivity is just a transfer of poverty. If your billions can be traced back to a government contract or a banking loophole rather than a factory or a global product, you are part of the problem. We worship the success but ignore the source.

The two options we have are a Chinese style system with a powerful benevolent socialist government or a benevolent dictator surrounded by like-minded people. This democracy business we run will take 200 years to get nowhere.

I hate it when corrupt politicians leave office and start crying about the things they failed to fix while in office. They aren’t repentant, they’re just angry they no longer have access and they know Nigerians suffer from short-term memory.

This right here. Is one of the major differences between us and the west. They steal and bring it in, in 9ja they steal and give it to the west. If this is true how can you be the 7th highest property owner in UK and you are from poverty capital of the world

You see why these so called wealthy criminals can never say truth to power?because they benefit more from the corruption going on in the country.some of them got an oil well at no cost, banking license at will and a lot of many benefits from the corrupt system and government.

Nigerian money making defies market principles & logic. Dangote, Otedola etc are all beneficiaries of this stupendously corrupt system. There is no way Dangote becomes worlds richest black man in the same breath Nigeria becomes poverty capital of the world. Their is a disconnect

For those who don't know the meaning of Rent-Seeking It means "exploiting the system instead of creating real value that improves people's lives in the system."

Later, people will still write, "REST IN PEACE". My RIP only goes to the deserving. Even if a million writes " RIP", our GOD is never unjust. PIECES is an understatement of what will happen to you if you are amongst the people stealing the commonwealth of Nigeria.

If these is not the definition of wickedness what else? looting and laundering cash by disguising as a bank owner. no wonder the other guy too is endorsing Tinubu.

@DavidHundeyin Herbert co-founded a bank and through sheer hard work and grace of God, they expanded their branch network abroad. He also held shares in a reputable construction company. His legitimate earnings from these businesses can easily acquire this number of properties.

You see someone in Nigeria worth billions some even in dollars yet nothing but hunger, poverty and wretchedness all around them. Anyone who has run a business knows the process involved in scaling up legitimately. A lot of people in your supply chain get wealthy too not just you

Corruption is embedded in the structural constituent of Nigeria and it has been legitimized such that what happens every electoral cycle is the forceful monopolization of corruption by these lots.

106 properties in London? That's not hard work—it's rent-seeking on steroids. Made billions from Nigeria's forex arbitrage, invested zero in local industry. Now the UK benefits from our stolen wealth. Sad reality.

@DavidHundeyin I went to pitch a JV to a successful’ oil mogul. In the course of our conversation about how I didn’t want to Japa because people like Mr. Dangote can defy these odds. The man laughed so hard, almost mockingly; then he asked- your leaders are so rich, wey all their factories? ✌🏿

The banking sector globally is always one of if not the biggest industry in any country. So we still don't understand that if you operate a bank in Nigeria you will be stupendously rich without needing to defraud anybody. You don't need a factory.
