It is true. I have worked there for three years. It's changing rapidly. Many non-nationals are now moving in. I have known a lot of people there waiting for housing. Funny that. No one is ever in the barbers and i drive past a dozen times a day!

Britain’s decline is clearly shown through what has happened to so many town centres. It’s horrendous. So many town centres and high streets in Britain have become hollowed out, filthy and boarded up. They have become symptomatic of wider national decay. Resorting civic pride, community morale, architectural quality and a booming town centre economy should be a key priority for national and local governments. Instead we have had years of political neglect, anti local business political decisions (like extortionate business rates), the squeeze on local high street local independent businesses by mega corporations, out of town retail park spread, changes to town centre traffic policies, combined with online shopping and a huge decline in the hospitality sector since Covid has led to this sorry state of our town centres. It’s time for a Great British renaissance. And that starts with the high street…and wherever possible, buying local. Because ghost towns happen when we don’t shop locally.

Like many people in Plymouth, I come from a Cornish family. My grandfather spent his life working for Cornwall, out of a lifelong love & championing of what it means to be Cornish. He would be utterly devastated at the idea of Cornish people missing out on opportunity. The choice is between new houses, jobs and powers for Cornish people on one hand, or isolation and nationalism on the other.

The Chinese love Jennie so much and have her pictures everywhere like a national treasure, even though she's Korean. this is a new tourist attraction in Xi'an, probably called "Korea Town" or something like that. it's not a promotion for Ck or Tamburins, but the Chinese just love displaying Jennie's pictures. Sometimes there are paintings of her on the walls. and of course, it gets a lot of attention. people are taking pictures with her billboards.

The centre of every Irish town and city is made up of kebab shops, Turkish barbers, foreign owned coffee shops, and mobile phone accessory shops. All the taxi and bus drivers are foreign. There's homeless foreigners living on the streets in tents and doorways. Gangs of Africans, Georgians, Roma, and Muslims are everywhere, engaged in shady behaviour. The Irish pubs are gone and have been replaced with foreign shiiite. The smell of urine and faeces is impossible to ignore. In the space of a few years, our town centres have been transformed into something that looks more like the 3rd world than Ireland.
