BODY LANGUAGE ANALYSIS: (1/5) Dan Bongino and Kash Patel are under fire after giving these answers about Trump's assassination attempts investigations. I find it baffling that Kash Patel says that 'two of the investigations are OBVIOUSLY closed because the individuals are dead'. So, you don't want to know about... show more

(2/5) I see him nodding heavily and resorting to look to Bongino to look for rapport, as in: emphasis and presenting a united front. He looks in Bongino's direction twice and then uses his eyes (opening them a bit more), also for emphasis. Most of this feels out of his body language baseline, maybe he knew he had just said something nonsensical in the past clip.

(3/5) This is, hands down, the worst part. "Are we gonna be surprised at what you learned"? and we get sighs, pressed lips, head shaking, nervous smiles and a tongue click. Way too many emotional markers when they could have just said that the investigations were ongoing. "Kash is not kidding" is not reassuring. Nobody has asked or implied that Patel, or Bongino, are kidding or not taking this seriously. That's a soft deflection/blaming, implying something that hasn't happened. For a few seconds, Bongino keeps his eyes down, something unusual for his body language baseline of looking straight on, keeping eye contact.

(4/5) He looks twice to his right, I'd say that he was measuring his words very carefully. But then he says: "I'm not gonna tell people what they want to hear, I'm going to tell you the truth" Notice that he references 'people' as in, separated as a third entity. Because he says 'I'm going to tell YOU the truth'. VERY different would have been to say "I think people deserve the truth, and I'm going to give it to them" This way he would have referred to 'people' in a respectful and not dismissive way, and not limiting the truth to 'you' (the journalist). He was carefully picking his words and he's got a LONG history as a content creator and live streamer, so my guess is that he ultimately said what he meant. Not a good attitude. But he also says "whether you like it or not, is up to you", keeps a confrontational tone, like he's under threat. Why so nervous?

(5/5) Bongino references his expertise. Not a big deal but I usually have problems with this because it means that he's trying to support his argument against his 'expertise'. Notice that is NOT reputation, but expertise. That's a difference. That's like saying "Look, I am the expert here". How does it sound to you? convincing? Also, including his 'personal friendship (And Patel's) with the President', sounds a bit manipulative, like trying to gain some credibility by association. Again, aren't the facts just enough? Then the worst part: "Give me one logical, sensible reason we would not have..." and then stops. Nope, it's him the one who's being interviewed and the one who needs to give the logical, sensible facts about what's going on. And he's acting like he's being attacked, dismissive of people's concerns about these assassination attempts. VERY different from his podcasting work. Then stutters, shakes his head all over the place, interrupts himself a couple times and then nods heavily emphasizing: "IT'S. NOT. THERE". Does this look like credibility and reassurance to you? I'd love to know what do pick from their behavior.

They both looked like hostages, esp. Kash.

From what I've seen on X, most people are NOT convinced that they're being truthful.

"The Democratic Party's actions had left many U.S. citizens feeling humiliated. Signs of a Trump victory were proclaimed well before Biden withdrew from the race. The voters had had enough." 📝 @KarinaLMariani

I'd LOVE to see you analyze Letitia James's latest video!

Thank you! added ✅

They both look very scared. I wouldn’t be surprised if their families were threatened. I would act like that too. The types who assassinate would stop at nothing. These two normally have nerves of steel, so whatever has them rattled is deadly serious.
