UNITED FLIGHT 1837 – Pilot declares emergency after passenger attacks flight attendant and tries to breach the cockpit door. From the ATC audio/transcript: Pilot: “Ground, United uh 1837, we’re declaring an emergency… someone just attacked one of our flight attendants… Can you have emergency vehicles come meet the aircraft?” Later: “A gentleman just attacked one of the flight attendants and tried to open the forward main cabin door… Trying to gain access to the flight deck.” The crew was able to restrain the individual. They requested immediate gate access and law enforcement. The flight was on the ground when this occurred. #UnitedAirlines #Aviation #FlightEmergency
