If you as a person don't have children you can also choose the preference of not wanting to date someone who has children. Like yes I understand people need love but people also have standards. I want my first child to also be my partners first child. If I can't have children or it doesn't happen it's not the end of the world but I rather be careful than to add on to more broken homes
