He has stated in countless interviews that if he were arrested, they would kill him. What we are witnessing now is not negligence, but blatant political persecution and a complete lack of equal treatment, especially when another former president, suffering from far milder health conditions, has been granted house arrest. The world knows he is innocent and that there was no coup attempt. What is unfolding is unacceptable and constitutes a violation of every principle and article of human rights recognized by any international organization. Below is the appeal published in a post by his son, Carlos Carlos Bolsonaro : “Today, as previously agreed, my visit was scheduled to take place after Michelle’s. When I arrived at the Federal Police, strangely, she had not yet entered. We were informed that doctors were assessing a fall involving my father. I did not understand. When I finally saw him, I noticed a bruise on his face and bleeding on his feet. I asked what had happened, and he, clearly dazed, changed the subject. Abhijeet Dipke is now saying that he had gone to a friend's house just for 15 minutes to take a shower, and during that time they took Sonam Wangchuk to the hospital. In reality, Abhijeet Dipke goes there every day to shower, eat, and rest. He spends around 12 hours a day there. Sonam and the other protesters stay here 24 hours a day, while he keeps roaming around elsewhere. Now he's crying about why he left, as if he would have stopped the Delhi Police if he had been at Jantar Mantar. He would have been the first one to run away from there after seeing the police batons.
