I don't know how best to describe it but I'll try my bit. Oha is a kind of leafy vegetable, just like ugwu, efinrin, tẹ̀tẹ̀, ewúro (bitterleaf) etc are. Soup made from a certain type of vegetable leaves is called by the name of the leaf. You know just as we talk about bitterleaf soup, ọbẹ̀ ẹ̀fọ́ tẹ̀tẹ̀, ọbẹ̀ ẹ̀fọ́ ṣọkọ, ugwu soup etc, soup cooked with oha leaf is also referred to as oha soup. In frame one, oha soup is in the pot on the right hand side. And in frame 2 is oha soup served with ẹ̀bà. You know I'm #AgbaChef for a reason. 😁😁

Many of these meals were a staple around my house growing up. Most of these recipes may have come about before my time, but we still enjoyed several of them. My mom had a soup that she would make called “feel better soup” which was basically the goulash casserole with extra beef broth. We would specifically ask my mom for this soup even when we weren’t sick. Did you ever eat any variation of these meals? Definitely brings back memories of dinner around the kitchen table.

So, let me go and verify ooo. 1: We visited Port Harcourt Refinery this week to find out whether the Refinery don shut down as claimed by Punch Newspapers 2: The way PH refinery is built, you cannot be at the gate or in the building to ascertain whether it is operational or not. You have to visit another gate where you will be processed before allowing you to enter. 3: Precaution is important: You must have a safety shoes on. You must drop your phone to avoid accidents. Then, trucks that are loading have a particular gate they will exist from. 4: The Punch Journalist must have enjoyed himself at a nearby garden in Eleme with Pepper soup and bole. He does not know that tankers will not pass the main entrance. 5: anyway, the refinery is operational.
