NEW - Dean Phillips Says Biden Coverup Exposed a Rotten System — “This is a symptom of a broader disease.” Dean Phillips just voiced what no one else in the Democratic Party will. He says the Biden coverup wasn’t just a scandal—it was a symptom. In a stunning admission, Phillips points the finger not just at the White House—but at Congress, party leadership, and the culture of fear keeping Democrats in line. “If we don't reflect on the lack of honesty from the White House all the way down to House leadership, to members of Congress—and by the way, this is not unique to the Biden enterprise—this is a symptom of a broader disease.” He says after serving in Congress, he finally gets it. “Having now been a member of Congress and seen firsthand how this incentive system works, I do understand why this happened. And that's why we have to change it.” Then he answered the question that’s been haunting Democrats for months: Why didn’t anyone step up and challenge Biden? “The why is because if you wish to become a leader, if you aspire to national office, if you get out of line… and now I know why nobody would accept my call or take that charge to enter the primary, because if they had and it hadn't worked out, their political career was over.” Phillips says the system rewards silence and obedience—while punishing truth. “So I think this begs the question about how do we create a new incentive system for people who are rewarded for being honest and people of integrity rather than being punished?”

Anti ICE riots funded by a man who “Actually shares an office in Shanghai with a propaganda firm of the Chinese Communist Party” “He identifies as a communist” Liz Wheeler “We traced the organizers of those anti-ice riots. We traced who organized this — Singham uses his wealth to fund violence in the United States, channeling his money through a complex network of shell organizations, including NGOs and political activism groups “We traced the organizers of those anti-ICE riots, investigating who orchestrated them, how they came to be, who’s paying for them, and who the people behind them are. We specifically looked into where they’re getting the money, and our investigation led us to Roy Singham. Neville Roy Singham is an American citizen and a tech entrepreneur, often referred to as a tech billionaire because he sold his tech company, ThoughtWorks, for three-quarters of a billion dollars. After selling his company, he moved to Shanghai, China, where he currently resides, with permission from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), because he identifies as a communist.” “He has openly admitted to being a communist and even shares an office in Shanghai with a CCP propaganda firm. Singham has been seen at propaganda conferences in China, writing in a red notebook adorned with a hammer and sickle, and he has publicly praised the Chinese Communists” “Singham uses his wealth to fund violence in the United States, channeling his money through a complex network of shell organizations, including NGOs and political activism groups. This tangled web of funding is deliberately vague and confusing, but the result is clear: his money supports violent riots like those we’ve seen in the U.S. He is an operative of the CCP, though he claims he’s not paid by them. However, his ability to live and operate a business in China, coupled with his echoing of CCP talking points, raises questions. He is actively engaged in what the CCP has described as their primary tactic for undermining America as the world’s dominant superpower: funding domestic unrest and violence. As an American citizen, Singham is used as a patsy by the CCP, who can claim he’s simply spending his money as he sees fit. This is precisely what Roy Singham does”

It's sad how the Manicaland Provincial leadership succumbed to their greed inducing them to act against the party's constitution which states that the said position was reserved for a woman who should also be from the same Administrative District. I do not blame Tungwarara but the Manicaland leadership which has exposed its insatiable hunger for money. When did a man become a woman for them to make such a greedy blunder? The whole episode, which is a clear strategic blunder deriving from poor political astuteness, reveals the limitations of depending on money as a political weapon. One has to build a proper support base and entrench themselves within the structures through sincere philanthropy as has happened with Tagwirei who has years of work supporting the party behind him. His track record as a benefactor for the party has been testified about, such as by Hon Shamhu in the video, such that his entrance into party structures was a natural progression. No wonder even those who fought against his co-option into the Central Committee failed. After this Tungwarara should realize that as President Mnangagwa has said, ZANU PF cannot be put into one's pocket. There is a need for one to actually work and not seek shortcuts into power. As a political consultant I have assisted many successful individuals for years and I can tell you today that one has to identify their area of expertise where their potential can be realised. This monied and misguided belief that one has to get a party position is shallow. Like him or not Chivayo has identified his area and doesn't seek a political position. Connections and king-making influence is enough for him and that is a strategy. Equally, Scott Sakupwanya has targeted the Legislative route, successfully. Tagwirei has ignored that and instead sought for a position in the party structure. For one sincerely building support in the party donations can be done from behind the scenes and even through the Chairperson like Oppah Muchinguri or the President. That suffices unless there is a misguided and impulsive desire for power which compels one to continuously hog the limelight dishing gifts as a shortcut to power. However, that can misfire spectacularly if done without enough political wisdom.

Jess Phillips, Minister for Safeguarding Girls is stupid if she thinks we will fall for her lies. These are the facts: - She established a Survivors Panel to inform the selection of chair for the grooming gang inquiry. This panel was excluded from the appointment of Labour Party grandee Anne Longfield. - Survivors on the panel insisted the chair be independent from the Labour Party and be a judge. Longfield is neither. Worse, she comes from the very state machinery that covered this up. - Phillips initially refused to support a public inquiry in Oldham. She had to be dragged kicking and screaming to support a national inquiry. - She spent months resisting investigation of the racial and religious dynamics central to these crimes. - After 6 months of delay, she appointed Labour party-linked people to lead the national inquiry. - Survivors found out about Longfield's appointment by watching Parliament TV. This is systematic betrayal. Survivors forced this inquiry into existence. Phillips has spent every moment since trying to control and compromise it. On Channel 4 News, Phillips faced the consequences of her deception. It wasn't just political car crash television. It was a government unravelling live on air with Phillips claiming there had been meaningful consultation while the evidence of rigging mounted around her. The interview revealed the systematic dishonesty at the heart of this process. Phillips claimed survivors had been extensively consulted on the appointment. She insisted the process was robust and transparent. She maintained that survivor concerns had been carefully considered in the final decision. Every single one of these claims was demonstrably false. Phillips' television performance revealed how institutions view survivors. They see them as emotional burdens to be managed rather than moral authorities to be followed. She spoke of survivors as a "snapshot" of opinion, as imperfect representatives who must accept systemic limitations rather than define ethical standards. When Channel 4 quoted survivor Carly saying "the government has groomed us all over again," Phillips ignored the devastating accuracy of that parallel. She retreated to institutional comfort phrases. Her door is always open, consultation is complex, no single survivor speaks for all survivors. She apologised for how survivors felt, never for what the government had done. Grooming gang survivors spent more than a decade fighting three wars. - The first, against the men who raped and trafficked them - The second, against the professionals who refused to believe them or dismissed their abuse as “lifestyle choices” - And finally, against the politicians and institutions that covered it up. They survived the rapes. They endured being blamed for their own exploitation. They exposed the political concealment. And after years of relentless campaigning, they finally forced a reluctant government to commit to a national inquiry. Now, with a rare chance to break this cycle of betrayal, Jess Phillips and her Labour Party government has chosen to repeat it and continue the cover up. We will not allow Jess Phillips to succeed with her deceit. _________ I am Raja Miah. For seven years, I led a small team that exposed how politicians protected the rape gangs. 🚨Whitney Webb describes how oligarchs like Leslie Wexner are able to control the U.S. federal government: "They went to his house to [depose him]. He didn't even have to go to D.C." "He was never investigated, even when his tax attorney was shot in the face." "Look to the lengths that the... government has gone to cover... up any sort of scrutiny of [him.]" "This is something that's been going on for a very long time and routinely. I think it should be clear at this point that the U.S. federal government is not really interested in investigating white collar crime because it works on behalf and serves the white collar criminals who pay for politicians and pay their campaigns and fly them on their private jets and give them special privileges. And then the politicians, when they're in office... give them a return on their investment, let's put it that way." This clip of Webb (Whitney Webb), author of One Nation Under Blackmail and contributing editor of unlimitedhangout(.)com, is taken from an interview with Jimmy Dore (Jimmy Dore) posted to Rumble on March 26, 2026. ----------------Partial transcription of clip-------------- Webb: "Well, you know, just look at a person who was a frontman, arguably, for Wexner in related interests, Jeffrey Epstein. And look to the lengths that the federal government has gone to cover that up and also to cover up any sort of scrutiny of Leslie Wexner that— when he was deposed by Congress recently, that was the first time he was ever deposed in this case. I mean, that's insane. "And they went to his house to do it. He didn't even have to go to D.C. normally, if you're deposed as part of a major sex trafficking, huge, massive scandal of great media interest and public interest, people don't come to your house to nicely interview you, you know." Jimmy Dore: "And so— And so what does that tell you about his power? And how does he get that power?" Webb: "Well, I think he has that power because he's an extremely rich and powerful man. And I think, you know, just like Epstein, as I've noted extensively in my work on him and on his case, was linked to a lot of shady financial actors and very powerful people, including Rothschild banking interests, former heads of state, former top officials. Wexner presumably has a lot of those same ties. "And he was never investigated, even when his tax attorney was shot in the face, days before he was supposed to testify to the IRS. It got, you know, the document linking Wexner to that and linking Wexner to organized crime was destroyed by the police department— the police chief who was supposed to investigate it. "So this is something that's been going on for a very long time and routinely. I think it should be clear at this point, that the U.S. Federal government is not really interested in investigating white collar crime because it works on behalf and serves the white collar criminals who pay for politicians and pay their campaigns and fly them on their private jets and give them special privileges. And then the politicians, when they're in office, return, you know, give them a return on their investment, let's put it that way. "And the investments are bribes or, you know, indirect bribes. And actually, as I note in the article, Ohio's largest corruption scandal and bribery scandal ever. The first energy or HB 6 scandal, is tied up directly in with this group and with Wexner. It happened just a few years ago. I think the story broke in 2020, and two of the main people have ended up dead. "One of them is a lobbyist that used to work for Wexner in the New Albany company and was tied to this company, FirstEnergy, and FirstEnergy basically bribed a bunch of people in the Ohio state government to push through legislation that bailed out a bunch of their nuclear and, I think, a coal-powered power plant with taxpayer money. "And they— the amount of bribes they spent is dwarfed by how much money they got as part of the bailout. So that was a great return on investment, quote–unquote, for them. But one of the people that was arrested as part of that scandal for racketeering and other things, Neil Clark, just was found in the woods near his house with a bullet to the head. It was quickly ruled a suicide, and he used to work for Wexner in New Albany. And who do you think really wants these nuclear power plants functioning? AI data centers."

CNN’s Kristen Holmes: “I just want to point out one thing before we get into the power and influential person that Charlie Kirk was..not just a political activist. He was also a father and a husband. And you have to remember something when you talk about Donald Trump's campaign and the team that got him elected, it was a very small, very tight knit group of people. It was loyalists, people who were gathered around Donald Trump working in and out every day. And Charlie Kirk was part of that movement. So, when you're talking to these White House advisers and staffers and friends of the President, it's not just them looking at the death of an icon and a movement leader, as we've heard, it's also them looking at the death of a very close friend and somebody they spent an enormous amount of time with...[T]hat's why you're seeing such a sadness and a disbelief from so many people close to the President. And when it comes to talking strictly about his influence and his power within Washington, I mean, one of the things to keep in mind here is that this is somebody who had a direct line to President Trump who could voice his objections to President Trump at times, he could voice what he thought was important and not being covered enough by the administration. He spoke to many, if not all, of the cabinet secretaries directly. He had a finger on the pulse of the MAGA movement, even more so than some people who are here in Washington who got government positions. If you look at the crowd that had gathered around Kirk, that was just one example of the kind of crowds that Kirk would draw. He was truly a movement leader, as we've heard. He would bring thousands and thousands of people together, and that was why he was so critical beyond just the personal to the campaign to President Trump...So, there are a lot of different levels of all of this. The influence, the power, the — the connection to the base, but also the family and the relationships that Charlie Kirk had built with all of the Trumps. We have seen the children responding each individually about their relationships with Charlie Kirk saying to pray for him and his family.”

PDP Backs Wike: Says ‘He Has Always Been There for Us’ The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has reiterated its strong support for Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, commending his loyalty and contributions to the party. At a book launch held in Wike’s honour, the Deputy National Chairman (South) of the PDP, Taofeek Arapaja, emphasized that despite internal party challenges, including members with an “entitlement mentality,” Wike continues to earn admiration and respect. Arapaja described Wike as one of the most devoted and loyal leaders the party has ever had. He stated: “Our mentor and principal, who has never left the PDP for a day, is one of the most committed and loyal party leaders we have ever had. He has done well, he is doing well, and we wish him well in all his future endeavours.” Arapaja praised Wike’s steadfast advocacy for equity, justice, and fairness, highlighting his leadership role in the G5 group and his consistent support for fellow party members. He contrasted this with some leaders who only engage with the party when seeking help, affirming Wike’s integrity and dedication. “We know you, and we always love and appreciate you. Some people believe in entitlement mentality, but we will always stand by you because you are a man of integrity, honour, and a performer,” Arapaja remarked. The PDP official also responded to recent criticisms made by Senate President Godswill Akpabio about the party. Arapaja expressed disappointment in Akpabio’s negative remarks, pointing out that the Senate President, who was previously Governor of Akwa Ibom State under the PDP, owes much of his political career to the party. “The foundation of all political parties is the PDP. I am surprised when someone who is a product of the PDP speaks negatively about it,” he said. Arapaja further acknowledged Akpabio’s performance as governor under the PDP, noting, “Nobody can dispute the fact that the present Senate President performed during his tenure as governor under the PDP.”

Dominion has extensive ties to the Democrat Party, including Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, the Clintons, and strong ties to China. Co-founder of Dominion, John Poulos stated to Congress and admitted that 59% of their products and parts come from China, including LCD touchscreens, control boards, A.I. processors, and more. Reports also found that 96% of Dominion's employees and their political contributions who are involved with the entire process of software development, web engineering, production, and management, go to the Democrat Party. Dominion only provided a total of $86.25 to the Republican party. Diane Feinstein's husband, Richard Bloom, is a key share holder, and Nancy Pelosi's long time Chief of Staff are key executives of Dominion Voting Systems. But it doesn't end there. Pelosi's former Chief of Staff, Nadeem Alshami is one of the lobbyists in Dominion. Alshami is from a lobbying firm called Brunstein-Farber-Hyatt-Schreck. There are also deep ties with Barack Obama. According to Dominion's own website in 2018, a company called Staple Street Capital (SSC), which is a private equity firm, acquired Dominion Voting. On SSC's website, one of their share holders has a key name, William Kennard. William Kennard was on the Federal Communications Commission, or the FCC chair during Clinton's era. He was also a policy advisor for the former Secretary of State, John Kerry, and the Carlyle Groups managing director, another private equity firm. Even now, Kennard is still a member of the executive board at AT&T and FORD, and AT&T owns CNN. So this Canadian company called Dominion Voting Systems is involved in media, business, and politics, who also has important relationships with the higher-ups of the members of the Democrat Party. The Clinton ties don't end there either. Dominion's communication manager, Penelope Chester Starr, used to work at the Clinton Foundation. She was also the vice president of Tenio. Tenio is a company in which one of their main duties is organizing Hillary's overseas ventures. On the Clinton Foundation website, as early as 2014, Dominion promised to give money to one of the foundation's plans, and that plan was to provide newly formed democratic societies around the world voting machines and voting technologies.

Before Fela Kuti, There was Fela Sowande, The Father of Nigerian Classical Music. Chief Olufela Obafunmilayo "Fela" Sowande MBE (29 May 1905 – 13 March 1987) was a Nigerian musician and composer. Considered the father of modern Nigerian art music, Sowande is perhaps the most internationally known African composer of works in the European "classical" idiom. Sowande was born 29 May 1905 in Abeokuta, near Lagos, the son of Emmanuel Sowande, a priest and pioneer of Nigerian church music. As a child he sang in the Choir of the Cathedral Church of Christ. He studied at the C.M.S. Grammar School and at King's College, Lagos. The influence of his father and Dr. T. K. Ekundayo Phillips (composer, organist and choirmaster) was an important factor in his early years. Through Phillips, Sowande was first exposed to European church music like Bach and Rheinberger. At that time, Sowande was a chorister and was introduced to new Yoruba works being introduced into the churches. Under Phillips' tutelage, Sowande earned the Fellowship Diploma (FRCO) from the Royal College of Organists. At that time, he was also a bandleader, playing jazz and popular highlife music In 1934, Sowande went to London to study European classical and popular music. In 1936, he was solo pianist in a performance of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. He also played as part of a pianist duo with Fats Waller, was theatre organist for the BBC, Choirmaster at Kingsway Hall and pianist in the 1936 production of Blackbirds. In 1939, he played the organ on recordings by popular singers Adelaide Hall and Vera Lynn. Later, he studied organ privately under Edmund Rubbra, George Oldroyd, and George Cunningham and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Organists in 1943, winning the Limpus, Harding and Read Prizes. He obtained a Bachelor of Music degree at the University of London and became a Fellow of Trinity College of Music. During the Second World War, he worked as musical advisor for the Colonial Film Unit of the Ministry of Information mainly providing background music for educational films, and lectured on music for the BBC Africa Service. From 1945 until 1952, he was organist and choirmaster at the West London Mission of the Methodist Church. During this time, he also became known as a dance pianist, bandleader, and Hammond organist, playing popular tunes of the day. He went back to Nigeria to scholarly work with the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation and later the University of Ibadan. In 1952 Sowande became musical director of the Nigerian Broadcasting Service; in the 1955 Queen's Birthday Honours he was appointed MBE for this work. Sowande was one of the six judges who selected the Nigerian National Anthem in 1960. In 1962 he travelled to the United States on a Rockefeller Foundation fellowship. In 1968, he moved to Howard University in Washington, D.C., then to the University of Pittsburgh. He was a Musical King in Africa.

🚨BREAKING: From the Oval Office, President Trump addresses Charlie Kirk’s assassination and vows to go after those responsible for political violence: “I am filled with grief and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a college campus in Utah. Charlie inspired millions, and tonight, all who knew him and loved him are united in shock and horror. Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the cause of open debate and the country that he loved so much, the United States of America. He fought for liberty, democracy, justice, and the American people. He's a martyr for truth and freedom, and there's never been anyone who was so respected by youth.” “It's a long past time for all Americans and the media to confront the fact that violence and murder are the tragic consequence of demonizing those with whom you disagree day after day, year after year. In the most hateful and despicable way possible.” “For years, those on the radical left have compared wonderful Americans like Charlie to Nazis and the world's worst mass murderers and criminals. This kind of rhetoric is directly responsible for the terrorism that we're seeing in our country today, and it must stop right now.” “My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country.” “Today, because of this heinous act, Charlie's voice has become bigger and grander than ever before. And it's not even close. May God bless his memory.” “May God watch over his family. And may God bless the United States of America. Thank you.”

The US State Department put together an entire network to PROTECT GEORGE SOROS This was funded by American Tax Dollars, our money was even used to pay off Congress to fund this (INSANE) Mike Benz “The state Department was concerned that Lithuanian media and Lithuanian political parties were criticizing George Soros. So the State Department writes this big cable that WikiLeaks published — The State Department lays out this action plan to protect George Soros from criticism and how they're going to back channel with their allies in the the government, how they're going to back channel to shut down these media outlets, how they're going to increase funding to offset. Now this is all just to protect one guy's foundation. We're paying for this as taxpayers. We're paying for the US Embassy in Lithuania to work with the main State Department in Foggy Bottom to also lobby Congress for more funding and to hold all these meetings and coordination and all these counter strategies just to protect a random NGO halfway across the globe in low GDP country like Lithuania. But in this particular WikiLeaks document, you see just how much of a lynchpin it is to the strategy. The State Department openly says that the Open Society Institution there is critical to U.S. statecraft, that they have all these relationships and network connections to key people in the in power political party that the State Department effectively cooed into office. And so you have this relationship where they're self confessing that what is being reported about Soros and his role in intelligence, Soros and his role in American statecraft, they're self reporting that it's true while coming up with a strategy about how to paint it as false and then while mobilizing all of our American resources and diplomatic muscle in order to quiet down the criticism and stop the circulation of critiques on Soros. Because it is an attack on the embassy itself, which is therefore an attack on all of the embassy's network assets, including in the intelligence world and in the NGO, the diplomatic and the military vectors.”

As many of you would know by now I did not regain my seat in the Senate. My final day as a Senator for Queensland is Monday, 30 June. While this is a disappointing outcome, it was still a very good result given the short lead time and lack of mainstream media attention that the Party and I received. The efforts of everyone involved in our campaign have been inspiring and have laid the groundwork for a genuine grassroots political movement. While it will take a lot of work, I think we owe it to our children to keep fighting the prevailing political forces. We have been badly let down by our institutions and change is only going to come from the ground up. Over the next six months, I will set up state divisions and branches to grow the membership of People First with a view to running candidates again in the next federal election and State elections where resources permit. We already have over 2,000 members and aim to have more than 5,000 members by the start of 2028. People First has the best policies and, more importantly, the know-how to solve Australia’s problems. Thank you to everyone who has volunteered and supported the party. I appreciate your efforts and look forward to continuing the fight over the next three years. Congratulations to everyone who ran as a candidate in the election. Regardless of your political views, our democracy is only as good as the level of participation in it. If you would like to be part of the fight going forward you can join the party, donate, or register to volunteer at

Haviv Retting Gur talk about AIPAC: AIPAC is a lobby. It's not the wealthiest. It's not the most influential. It is the one that draws the most attention and you know, that's got a little bit, tiny, forgive me, a tiny bit to do with prejudice. And there's a lot less concern about actual foreign lobbies. Every single dollar AIPAC has ever raised is American Every single member of AIPAC is American. Nobody has the concern about the Qatari lobby and the Saudi lobby and the Chinese lobby in America, which is wealthier and spends more in America than this lobby of Americans saying something that they believe in. A few arguments are made against AIPAC. One argument is that AIPAC always supports the Israeli position. That is not true. AIPAC always supports its membership's position. And here's the problem. Its membership deeply disagrees on Israeli politics. Incidentally, the last time AIPAC criticized the Israeli government was blunt and fierce, and it was about Netanyahu letting Ben-Gvir into the coalition because Ben-Gvir is a racist. And you know why AIPAC could come out with a literal statement coming out against Ben-Gvir entering the government? Because almost the entirety of its membership was horrified. And then AIPAC could speak. Every dollar in Obama's $4 billion, $3.8 billion a year that he gives to Israel has to be spent in the United States. 100% of it. And you know who advocated for increasing the amount that has to be spent back in America to make sure it's an American thing? AIPAC. Iron Dome. AIPAC campaigned for America to help support the building of the Iron Dome technology. And AIPAC itself advocated that, in the actual contract where the Americans send over the money and the Israelis build this technology no American organization knew how to build, that in exchange for the money, America co-owns Iron Dome. Qatar has massive influence campaigns in America, spends hundreds of millions of dollars on lobbying in America, the Attorney General of the United States today was a literal registered lobbyist for Qatar. Nobody makes this campaign, "How dare you accept money from PACs that support the relationship between the Arab world or the Muslim world in America." But it's much deeper than that. Because AIPAC was born in a moment of American Jewish shame. In World War II, American Jews sat silent. By 1943, everybody already knew what was happening. And 400 rabbis—religious rabbis, dressed up in all the getup from Eastern Europe, many of them Yiddish-speaking with bad English, refugee rabbis—came to Washington to meet President Roosevelt and to beg him to do something. And Roosevelt snuck out of the back door of the White House to avoid the meeting. And they went home, horrified, having not even been able to meet the president while Jews are being burned in the gas chambers. And there was a Jewish journalist who accompanied them. That moment was seared into his consciousness. AIPAC was founded by a generation of Jews that said, we will never be silent when other Jews are herded into a gas chamber. And that's treason? The three times that AIPAC literally frontally faced down an American president in Washington? It lost. It is influential because the Pentagon sees handing money to the Israelis in exchange for a technology nobody thought was possible as a workaround of a bloated and unmoving and immovable American defense industry. When AIPAC pushes that, it always, always takes care of the American interest because it's a bunch of Americans. And the demonizing of that is just pure prejudice and bigotry. And AIPAC, by the way, is not going anywhere. Because the very people coming for the Jews are also driving Jews to AIPAC. It's a little bit like Zionism.

-- via Haviv Rettig Gur

‼️ ATTENTION INDIANA ‼️ THREAD: 🚨 Long-Time Mike Pence Mike Pence Ally Daniel Elliott Has Failed to Stand for MAGA Policies During His Tenure As Indiana’s Treasurer 🚨 As the 2026 midterm elections get closer, it’s important to highlight lesser known candidates and elected officials who have obstructed President Trump and his MAGA agenda. As Indiana State Treasurer Daniel Elliott’s State Treasurer Daniel Elliott reelection date nears, it is expected that Elliott will attempt to sell his policies as “pro-MAGA” to Indiana voters, given President Trump’s unquestioned popularity in the Hoosier State. However, the facts show that Elliott has failed to uphold his oath and promise to Republican voters to stand for MAGA policies. Elliott’s policies have ushered in DEI in the state marketplace, while at the same time, Elliott embraced Mike Pence’s strategy of punting on the Indiana redistricting fight. During the height of the Indiana redistricting fight, Mike Pence chose to punt on the issue instead of supporting President Trump and Indiana Republicans who were pushing for a more favorable Republican map to counter California’s redistricting efforts. Pence responded to questions about the redistricting by saying, “I would defer, whatever angst it creates for people, I would simply defer to the state legislatures and the governors to determine what they think is appropriate… whether it be in Indiana, Texas, California, or anywhere else.” It is also important to note that the President and Vice President of Mike Pence’s 501c3/4 Advancing American Freedom came out against President Trump and Indiana Republicans’ redistricting plans, with Advancing American Freedom’s president Tim Chapman Tim Chapman posting to his X account: “There is nothing conservative about backing threats to a state’s federal funding because it declines to push a President’s own political agenda.” Pence and his allies refusing to support Indiana’s redistricting efforts seemingly had a marching orders effect, as Indiana Treasurer Daniel Elliott, who is a longtime supporter of Pence, was one of the only Indiana Republicans to remain on the sidelines during the redistricting fight. Indiana voters should take note of this very important fact ahead of the Indiana state primary elections in May of 2026. But sadly, as of now, Elliott is running for re-election unopposed. SM Krishna: A personal tribute I woke up today to the news of the passing of Sri SM Krishna, one of the most progressive and visionary former Chief Minister of Karnataka. Though my personal interactions with him have been limited to a few interactions at public events, the loss seemed deeply personal. As I booked tickets to Bengaluru to pay my last respects to the great man, I realised how deeply I was inspired by him in a multitude of ways. Mr. Krishna was the CM of Karnataka when I was in school, when I was first forming my worldview of politics and public life. It was the days when I was contesting my school elections for Head Boy and was tasting action in democracy for the first time. Naturally, as CM, Krishna dominated the newspapers and TV channels and I would follow his interactions with great interest. Also, it was the time when Dr. Rajkumar was abducted by Veerappan and we would have school holidays declared regularly. Many school children of my age, we would watch news with curiosity to know if the CM would declare another holiday. In all those interviews, the CM’s poise, his weighted choice of words and his resoluteness impressed my young mind. This inspired me deeply and drew me to him. The more I followed him, as a young boy interested in politics, the more I wanted to model myself after him. Mr. Krishna was in many respects a leader ahead of his times. At a time when political leaders were deeply influenced by socialism to the point of opposing industrialisation and urbanisation, Krishna was a clear believer in free markets, industrialisation and the need for urbanisation to create mass level prosperity. It was under his leadership that Bengaluru emerged as the country’s IT capital, leveraging its unique educational and human resource capabilities. Most of the now big IT services firms of the country received immense policy support during Krishna’s time. Bengaluru also saw its infrastructure develop rapidly. From the metro to the flyovers to the ring roads to the work on the new airport - all received tremendous attention under SM Krishna. He clearly understood that cities are the engines of growth and prosperity and that they needed to be given the political and financial capital needed. Even to this day, unfortunately, many political leaders and parties do not understand this and continue to ignore our urban development needs. Perhaps, this distance from socialism also had a role in his sartorial choices. While it was expected that political leaders should dress in the modest Khadi and shun flamboyance in an attempt to resonate with the poor masses, Krishna was flamboyant, stylish and savvy. He dressed well, like how the leader of an aspiring global city should. I have never seen him dressed shabbily ever, even in photos from the hospital bed. There was something regal about his appearance. I have googled so many of his pictures to try and buy similar clothes, ties and pocket squares. He is undoubtedly the most stylish politician of Karnataka. Mr. Krishna’s term as CM was not a bed of roses. The abduction of Dr. Rajkumar was one of the most difficult challenges that faced him and the way he handled the issue tactically, coordinating with CM Jayalalitha and also initiating track two dialogues with the forest brigand, and finally ensuring the release of Rajkumar is a lesson for many in crisis management and diplomacy. Unfortunately, the state suffered continuous drought during his CM-ship and despite his best efforts, the farmers crisis across the state remained quite acute and even led to the eventual loss of the Congress Party in the elections. Despite these challenges, his leadership transformed Bengaluru and created tremendous wealth for people of Karnataka. If Karnataka is among the wealthiest states in the country and Bengaluru is the richest city in the country in terms of per capita income, Krishna’s role is significant. While SM Krishna will be remembered for his developmental role, his crisis handling skills and his contribution to modern Bengaluru, he will mostly be loved by Kannadigas for the decency and dignity with which he carried his public life - a value so rare in Indian politics. All his interviews, in both English and Kannada are a treat to watch for his command over the languages and the depth in which he addressed the subjects and importantly for the decency with which he addressed all, including his sharpest rivals. His dignified personal conduct won him many admirers across political divides - even traditional BJP voting families like mine were ardent supporters of Krishna. It was like homecoming when Krishna joined the BJP in 2019, inspired by PM Modi. An ardent connoisseur of arts, Mr. Krishna and his wife Prema were often spotted at the cultural and theatre circuit of Bengaluru. I have seen him and his wife at the Rama Seva Mandali Ramotsava music festival many times. He was in the mould of our Mysuru Maharajas who were not only great patrons of our classical arts, but were passionate connoisseurs themselves. A state’s cultural life gets enriched with such political leaders. Even a year ago, I met Mr. Krishna at a play where we both were guests and I got an opportunity to take his blessings. In many ways, SM Krishna deeply influenced me in my formative days as a young school boy aspiring to get into politics. From his dignified public conduct to his focus on industrialisation and urbanisation to his impeccable sartorial choices - his influence was immense. I was delighted when he joined the BJP just before the 2019 elections and even came to campaign for me. He was not in the best of health then, but despite that, he stood in the heat in the campaign vehicle for more than an hour and even indulged my selfie videos. His support meant a lot to me personally. As we bid farewell to him, those of us in public life must resolve to conduct our politics in his mould - dignified, accommodating, progressive and prosperity creating for our people. I appeal to CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar to institute an award in Sri SM Krishna’s name to honour those who make a significant contribution to the development of Bengaluru - it will not only inspire many to work for our city but also keep the memory of an inspired life alive. As a proud Kannadiga and a Bengaluru boy, I thank Sri SM Krishna for everything. Go well, Sir.
