Vaccination rates have been pretty steady with a peak high in 2019- the same year we had an outbreak. Only one person in the last 22 years has died from measles. Even then, the patient had numerous other chronic diseases. However, deaths have been reported to VAERS from the MMR vaccine. The takeaway? Healthy people do not die from measles.
