Update: The Allegheny County Police Department is denying that it was its officer who spotted Crooks. The Beaver County police has been cited as the law enforcement agency that spotted Crooks 26 minutes prior to the Trump attack. This is a correction on that attribution. It is unclear who the police officer was who confronted Crooks on the rooftop. The New York Post reports merely that the officer "had been enlisted by the Secret Service to help with security."

This Statement Alone : The FBI has confirmed that Crooks was seen by law enforcement members from the Allegheny County Police Department on the roof of a building with a clear sightline to the former president. We the People Want Accountably 🤛

That 4chan post gains more credibility now. This situation gets weirder and weirder. Something isn’t right.

I’m sure the FBI will get to the bottom of this the same way they investigated Hunter’s laptop.

@AwakenedOutlaw

Who was this guy really? And why did he have a job in acting doing BlackRock commercials? Who was he associated with? Who helped him? And why if he was this radical does he not have any social media footprints? And why did he fail in 2018 his gun course shooting so poorly he had to drop out? And where did he get the explosives in his car?

This is beyond negligence, it’s outright dereliction of duty. The authorities had one job, and that was to protect the President. How do these "protectors" sleep at night knowing they let a gunman take aim at our President? It's hard not to wonder if they were hoping something would happen. The sheer incompetence is mind-boggling.

Truth:

None of this makes sense. Egregious amount of errors sounds more unlikely than the alternative.

An officer confronted Crooks but then scrambled back down the ladder. What? ‘Oh, pardon me sir, wrong roof, you good!’ 🤨
