Bongos Ikwue is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and guitarist born on June 6, 1942, in Otukpo, Benue State, of Idoma ethnicity. A music legend, he rose to fame in the 1960s, '70s, and '80s with a unique blend of highlife, folk, blues, and jazz, often called "Ikwue-jazz."
