LSU could have still defended it with a loop or twist inside. They didn't, that's what caused it to be open.

They tried in the 1st half. You still have a duo on the 2i. If you loop on the 3T side, that should be easily handled. You need 1 more guy in the box from the 3 yard line.

As a DC you should anticipate the 2i getting double team. The game should be on the other side with you 3 & 5 technique in my opinion. I'm using that 2i to occupy the center. But hindsight is 20/20.
