4) The Subway System GTA 4 has a completely working subway system, you can ride it around the entire city with no loading screen, all stations are fully modeled including all the tunnels too. It's pretty crazy that they managed to achieve this on PS3/360 hardware. It's like Persona 5 but in America!

5) Barrels react to loud noises next to them One of my favorite tiny details that Kommander Karl found a while back, if you shoot next to a barrel, they begin to vibrate due to the bullet sounds. This is a detail that is so well hidden it took many years for anyone to notice, Rockstars are geniuses at these tiny details.

6) Claude's Outfit You can get Claude's outfit in GTA 4 if you choose to kill Playboy X during the main story and get his mansion. My personal favorite outfit on Niko

7) Realistic Traffic Stops Cops in GTA 4 will conduct realistic traffic stops if they suspect a pedestrian of illegal activity.

8) Maverick has an unsettling sign The Maverick helicopter in GTA 4 has a bit of an interesting text in its interior that says the following: "THE HELICOPTER MIGHT CRASH BUT WE REALLY DONT CARE IF IT DOES REFER TO FLIGHT MANUAL FOR HELP"

9) Homeless defense If you give money to a homeless person, they'll fight to the death for you if another NPC were to attack you. Basically a free bodyguard when you think about it

10) The Sopranos The Sopranos's Satriale's Pork Store is actually in GTA 4, The store's front is directly taken from the real life building but the name on the sign is blanked out (assuming for copyirght reasons)

Best feature, mobs will fallback and disappear from battle when injured and bleeding. I have never seen this feature implemented before or again.
