16k views for our tech talk! One of the rare presentation available online on game architecture, especially for a large-scale game on Unity with interconnected features.

This is more views than your average GDC video. Except that: - they have 510k subs vs 1.7k - we control the format - we own the channel It confirms my theory: you can be your own media. No need to delegate to another entity, especially one pay-walling your content.

Weather is state-of-the-art in The Last Night, but isn't purely atmospheric. For example, drones struggle to stabilize when wind rises & will have to seek shelter in the nearest dovecote.... so weather isn't just cosmetic, it actually offers gameplay opportunities.

Holy fucking shit Tim

sick!

Bon Tim ça suffit maintenant, on y joue quand à cette merveille? ❤️

Stunning... 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Tim, This reminds me a bit of another new-ish system called Tooll3 that I've been working with a bit. Since you're using midi are the environmental reactions here also timed with the audio? It looks very clean. I have questions. Gorgeous work either way.

Aah je kiffe bien aussi contrôler un moteur avec un contrôleur midi😃 Sur Unreal avec les particules Niagara c'est assez fun

So cool!

Dinguerie

This is sooo beautiful.
