I remember that moment like it was yesterday. My eldest son standing there, completing his training in his IDF unit. In one hand, his rifle, in the other, the Bible. Swearing an oath to protect the State of Israel. As a father in Israel, I’m telling you: it is one of the most moving moments a person can experience. Despite the fear and the constant worry, your heart simply bursts with immense pride. To see the next generation continuing the chain of the Jewish people, standing tall and strong in our homeland.
