Boom. Christian nationalism at its best.

Mt 28 is not a plan to institute a Christian theocracy. It means the gospel was not to be restricted to the Jews but was to go to all the Gentiles as well. In Christ’s ministry He had forbidden them to go the nations (Matt 10:5-6) but were restricted to the lost sheep of Israel.

So what happens the great Commisssion succeeds and successfully disciples one nation? And then the next nation, etc…

The only thing missing are thuglife eyewear.

Thank you for showing that at its best Christian Nationalism is deficient because it falsely equivocates "nations" in Matthew 28 with our modern geopolitical definition.

Oh my goodness. How could Doug get so wrong the meaning of The Great Commission? (Mt 28:18-20) No wonder you all live in Moscow. For only in the remote sparce regions could this dribble be mistaken as biblical expostiin and given doctrinal approval. #MereClownendom

When the Prince of Peace returns to earth, this will be true. Until then, try rightly dividing your Bible.

@_KyleBerry Kyle, do you really think the Great Commission is not about preaching the Gospel, but about the Church establishing Christian governments? Am I misunderstanding his statement? It does seem rather vague to me.

Do you really think "disciple the nations" means to convert all nations? Isn't it better understood to mean convert people from all nations?

Wilson is a narrow, weak theologian. This clip is a little toe dipping into the great commission. His Christolgy and noomatology are flawed in much of his work. Find better sources of theological influence.
