This is a good thing. It happened to myself when I was 18. I was getting into trouble and it was go to jail or be a USA marine. I chose marine and 30 years later have a great career beatiful wife and kids, all because of the discipline I learned and appreciation for freedom!

Although Trump hasn’t said this.If we did require 2-4 years of public service the US would benefit. One of the military services, peace corps, something along those lines, young ones can benefit by developing discipline, a trade/skillset, & sense of duty. Win/win for all.
