Siren getting re-released with the new PS2 emulator for PS5 is a good sign that all the other PS2 games that were part of the 2015-2017 PS2 on PS4 program will also get updated. Primal, Okage: Shadow King, and of course Ape Escape 2 desperately need that treatment

I sometimes feel like the PlayStation 1 and PlayStation 2 were the last “true” console gaming systems. Starting with the PlayStation 3, things began to overlap more with PC, and it started to feel a bit like a PC-like platform. Of course, exclusives still helped set it apart from PC, but it didn’t quite have the same unique identity that the PS1 and PS2 had. Maybe that’s why I still really love those two systems to this day.
