Oh come on President Donald J. Trump. The US can take a lot of credit for a lot of things, but trying to take credit for the Iron Dome is just so stupid. Overall I’m a fan, but just stop. The Iron Dome is an Israeli-developed system led by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, with Daniel Gold as the most prominently credited individual leader and driving force behind its creation. He’s recognized as the father of the Iron Dome. The US collaborated and funded parts once it was developed but it’s an Israeli invention. What’s the point of trying to take credit for it? What’s the point of saying it? The US gets more than 10x the financial benefit and return on any money given to Israel, which is unprecedented. The US has the manufacturing capability for many things. But with respect to inventions, Israel is king on that, and as an ally you should be proud of that, not trying to take credit for what has nothing to do with you.

At 4am this morning the EU voted to provide a €90 billion aid package to Ukraine. This is a significant step forward to ensure Ukraine is NOT forced to capitulate to an indicted war criminal and a US president who is complicit in attempts to see an ally nation handed to Russia. While I believe that they SHOULD have used Russian frozen assets to fund this loan, that option while left on the table for future use was not used. There is now an opportunity for Europe to really step up and help bring this war to an end to secure a just and lasting peace without Ukraine being extorted by Trump for its energy and rare earth resources. I believe this is the first step in the separation of Europe from the US in terms of the military partnership. The story of America is unmatched in human civilization. It is the story of undaunted courage, of a bloody independence, of a Republic on the brink, of rebuilding & restoring, of rights being secured, and of sacrifice & liberation of those in the old countries who have lost hope. An identity that since the founding of our country has been open to those who truly desire to be American and adopt a wholly new spirit of being an American as our ancestors did when arriving on the shores of this foreign land. Theodore Roosevelt, an inspirer of men and a believer in the soul of America and in calling his countrymen to the highest of callings which our founding documents and our faith demand of us, knew that adopting this new American identity was necessary to maintain the fabric of our republic. He knew that anyone “who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. New Book Release: Chatuh Shloki Manusmriti: An English Commentary Publisher: Vitasta Publishing Pvt. Ltd Over the past few years, I’ve spent time deeply engaging with the Manusmriti — reading, reflecting, and wrestling with its meaning in today’s world. I still remember that the first time I came across Manusmriti or rather the Dharmashastra tradition in a meaningful way was when I was researching for my book 'Menstruation Across Cultures' almost a decade ago. That chance encounter had opened up an entire new avenue of research and reflection in my journey as a Seeker of Sanatana Dharma. The more I spent the time trying to discover and untangle Dharmashastras, the more I realized its extreme importance as a Shabda Pramana which provides the basic building blocks of Hindu Vision of Life, Society, and Universe. The journey is far from over, I believe that I have only taken the baby steps. A message from Catherine, The Princess of Wales As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment. The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown. The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything. This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved. Doing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes. I am however looking forward to being back at work and undertaking a few more public engagements in the coming months when I can. Despite all that has gone before I enter this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life. William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn great strength from all those who are helping us at this time. Everyone’s kindness, empathy and compassion has been truly humbling. To all those who are continuing their own cancer journey – I remain with you, side by side, hand in hand.
