NO, this is stupid af and in NO WAY solves the "last mile" problem, if it still requires a human to SLOWLY load packages onto the Bot, SO dumb!! The ONLY thing that will realistically solve this is Tesla Optimus and FSD. Self-driving van shows up and 3 Optimus Bots jump out with packages already in-hand to rapidly deliver to the 3 closest addresses. Will speed up delivery by 5-10x. @robotaxi @Tesla

I know its just testing for now, but one robot per truck seems a bit meh. 6-10 robots per truck plus a feeder mechanism that can start preloading as the truck nears the target neighborhood makes more sense.

Now your just looking for a purpose for your dog-bot. The last mile isn't the bending over walking it to the doorstep. Please see someone who works in logistics, its the dividing up the packages for smaller vehicles and having those go out to locations far apart, that is the $.

I love these dogs but you have to get real creative with the use cases haha

Great now the guy in the truck playing his music way too loud can play on his phone while the dog is placing the packages at the wrong house. No worries soon the driver can sleepp while Tesla will drives the truck.

So walking up to the front door from the front of the house is difficult. I guess we'll need a robot dog to check our mailbox too.

This limits the way packages are handled; if packages from other companies slip down at the same time, human intervention will still be required. However, it's a good solution to prevent dog bites.

Humanoid robot would be a better solution and it would not drop the package in the last 12 inches of the last mile….

But it's dropping them from a height, that seems like it would damaged certain items in the boxes in some ways, some times. That wouldn't be good.
