Hate to “well actually”, but Morrison said Gunn Superman is most similar to his Action Comics version which makes it fall into the “Action man” category, despite some fans pedalling thin and hollow hopecore rhetorics to dunk on Snyder’s wooden man.

i mean yeah, but also gunn has also talked about being influenced by john byrne, meaning my actual problem with gunn’s superman is him not really but kind of denouncing his alien-ness in the climax of the movie
