Albanese has no mandate for Net Zero, for he won the election through deception. Albanese deceived Australians about the cost of Net Zero. He lied by claiming that under Net Zero, electricity prices would be cheaper, when in fact, Net Zero is causing electricity prices to skyrocket. There should be a national plebiscite on Net Zero after an honest debate about its true costs. Intermittent renewables are to an electricity grid what COVID injections are to the human body—the more you put into the system, the greater the damage you do.

He promises a huge victory, by announcing a speedy BUREAUCRATIC PROCESS to get permissions for new power plants and then, also to create a tender for the construction of the new plants, which then can be built afterwards. -> This is at least 5 years, if not 10 until the first power plant is fully operational. They do not even have permits yet. FFS

🚨Why won’t Chris Bowen just answer the question? He has turned down interview requests from Liam Bartlett 13 times. Our power bills are going up and up. Our industry is being decimated. Bowen's energy policy (which is really just a continuation of the prior government's policy) is responsible for our challenges. It should be properly scrutinised. It should be challenged because it is clearly not working. That much is obvious. Liam Bartlett wants to give Bowen the opportunity to explain things one-on-one. Yet, he continues to refuse the requests. Instead, he makes fun of Liam, he turns to favourable journalists instead. But the public have a right to know. I understand why Bowen doesn't want scrutiny. Chris Bowen is absolutely floundering. We suffer as he ducks and weaves. We suffer as he hides from the light. We suffer due to his incompetence. We suffer for his secrecy. It is not nearly good enough. Bowen must answer to the public for what he does to us. I just want Australia back! 🇦🇺

Ed Milband is a massive liar. He is challenged here about whether the government is committed to its promise to lower bills by £300. First, he tries to shift responsibility for failing to deliver it by claiming that it was based on "independent modelling" by a third party. Then he claims that wholesale prices for renewable energy are cheaper, which is false because ROC and CfD subsides don't apply to wholesale prices, and consumers pay retail, not wholesale prices. Then he kicks the can down the road by claiming that the lower prices will appear in the future, yet he has just extended CfD RE contracts to 20 years -- and they're much longer in the case of Hinkley and Sizewell C. Lies upon lies upon lies, Ed Miliband. You lied to the public. You lied to consumers. And now you're lying to your colleagues in the committee -- not that they would do anything different.

There are 5.7 million businesses in the UK and after five months of reflection, the Government only wants to help just 0.18% with the ruinously high energy prices caused by Net Zero. The only way to cut energy costs properly is to scrap Net Stupid Zero. This will lower bills for every business, not just a select few. But Labour’s obsession with it is killing jobs, destroying growth and making us poorer.
