I wont have an ‘Odyssey Review’ to post on this site because I refuse to fork over my money to make this subversive trash financially viable. Kind of amazing how every right-wing chud on this site attacked the Odyssey for months then lined up to pay $40 for a 70MM IMAX showing. This is why we lose. This is why NFL boycotts don’t work. Why streaming services and Hollywood stay woke. They know the Right, which controls the vast majority of the spending and economy in this country, will just keep buying tickets. I know it won’t make a difference, but I’m not paying any of my money to people who hate me if I can help it. I’ll watch world renowned film critics Nerdrotic and The Critical Drinker for their reviews and leave it at that.

Egypt is oppressing Palestinians far more than Israel ever has. Why won't anyone talk about it? More than 100,000 Palestinians have fled Gaza into Egypt over the last year. To cross the border at Rafah, families pay thousands of dollars. Once they arrive, they are stripped of rights, banned from working, denied schools for their children, and locked into a legal limbo that offers no way forward. Egypt does not treat them as refugees. They receive thirty five day tourist visas that expire before they can actually do anything. They cannot obtain residency. They cannot open bank accounts. They cannot work legally. Students are blocked from public schools. Sick and wounded evacuees are placed in hospitals and told not to leave. The international community has poured billions of dollars into UNRWA, an agency built not to solve the refugee problem but to preserve it. Unlike every other refugee population in the world, Palestinians are excluded from UNHCR protection. That is because in 1949, the UN deliberately created UNRWA as a separate system designed to keep Palestinians in permanent refugee status, passed down to their children and grandchildren. But UNRWA has no authority in Egypt. That means hundreds of thousands of Palestinians living under Arab governments are denied citizenship, denied rights, and denied the protections that every other refugee in the world receives.
