I miss this BS when deployed or in the field. It was dangerous, but we had a lot of fun joking around at any down time. We did get to business when it was time.

I remember having a full on battle royal in MOPP 4 and it was one of the best times of our lives. In the woods at Fort Benning.

I remember in Somalia and the CA desert, cutting up in down time made everything normal. They were good times despite the shit sandwich we were eating at the time. MOPP4 sucks, nothing fun about that, it's cool you had levity at a time like that. The guys being guys always made things easier..

Got introduced to trailer park boys in the Army, thought it was weird at first but we watched the entire series in Jbad. The amount of “Corey, Trevor smokes let's go” and bubbles jokes made it one of my favorites 😂

We had a SSG that could do a PERFECT Herbert the Pervert (Family Guy) impression. None of us knew this til lights out on day 1 of an NTC rotation when the mf says "I got some candy in my pocket, you boys want some?" 😭😂

I had a 1st Sgt with a very distinctive voice. A guy in my platoon could do it perfectly and used it to scare the shit out of people. It was hilarious. Almost as hilarious as the day he got caught. “You funny. Come here” 😂

Guys like that keep the heart up and the despair from spreading but sometimes they break and you need a guy who hates everything to help him out.
