Brabus launched their first ever car, a supercar called the BRABUS BODO with over 1000hp, 1200Nm, RWD and a twin turbo V12, same base as the Aston Martin Vanquish, and not hybrid. Why didn’t BRABUS use a Mercedes V12 instead?

A real Brabus G900 ROCKET is a fully re-engineered vehicle, not a cosmetic exercise — and this one isn’t it. The giveaways are in the details, especially the interior: • The original G900 comes with the Brabus Executive double rear seating. That’s completely missing here — instead it’s just custom orange upholstery with Brabus logos embossed in the headrests. • The steering wheel still carries an AMG badge. On a genuine Brabus, this would be fully Brabus-branded. • Even the pedals lack Brabus imprints — something that’s standard on an authentic build. Branding doesn’t make a Brabus. Engineering does. I’ve attached below direct comparisons between an ORIGINAL Brabus and the kitted one being passed as a real one.

The Peugeot 907 could have been Peugeot’s answer to the Mercedes SLR, Aston Martin Vanquish, and Ferrari 612. You gotta admit, the 907 looked so much cooler, and those visible ITB trumpets are every car enthusiast’s dream. Imagine pulling up to Cars and Coffee in this thing and people realizing it’s a Peugeot. Sadly, they only built one prototype and fumbled the coolest car they ever made. The Peugeot 907 had a 6.0L V12, 500 hp, 620 Nm, RWD, 1,400 kg, 0–100 km/h in 3.7 s, and a 300 km/h top speed.

Mercedes solved performance with cylinders and displacement rather than software. Today you can't buy a completely new SL 65 since the flagship is a V8. It was excessive, intentional, and entirely unrepeatable.
