How have Lander and Mamdani done as current elected officials? Antisemitism in New York, home to the largest Jewish population outside of Israel, has only skyrocketed under their leadership. Neither has laid out a path as to how things would be different.

More disingenuous framing from you. He said specifically he ranked Zohran second because he "believes Zohran Mamdani a person of decency and integrity". He then went on to add the bit of not agreeing on everything I/P related but does believe he will protest Jewish NYers.

"We do not agree on everything about Israel and Palestine." Mamdani thinks that the people who want to kill Jews should be able to do so and brag about their wish to do so, Lander thinks they should be able to the former but stay quiet about the latter.

That's why today I called on the U.S. Department of Justice to open a civil rights investigation into New York City, New York State, and Mayor Zohran Mamdani. If the DOJ stepped in to protect Jewish students at Columbia, it must now step in to protect Jewish New Yorkers.
