Trading Brown wasn’t about his style of play, wasn’t about his max salary, wasn’t about being a poor teammate, and definitely wasn’t about improving the team. It was Jalen’s personality rubbed some people the wrong way. Who though? Either Tatum, Mazzulla, Stevens, new ownership?

I don’t think this is a situation you can reduce to just “we traded Jaylen Brown and now have Paul George” We also added a p&r guy with Robinson so it’s not always Queta or bust, and we added size that can shoot. Something that’s been missing with Horford and KP gone.
