Six years for one scene? It's starting to veer into trying to be over-important.

The good thing is how underplayed it is

Tar was like an effortless magic trick, perfectly depicting the folly of hubris and genius and it’s effect on relationships. Maestro is like a really well done science experiment, it works mostly and the engineers have shown us all how hard it was to make the sausage. Only the former reaches artistic greatness.

We get it Bradley. Jeez.

Did it live? I thought it was filmed. How many takes did they need or edit together? Never ever saw a conductor be this over expressive. It actually impedes on musicians performance.

I guarantee you they did not glance in his direction more than a couple of times

That scene was really good he should’ve worried about the rest of the movie
