They hate taxing the rich instead. They love taxing the poor and the vulnerable. This doesn't seem to matter what side of the fence you're on because the Tories have done it and now the labour party are doing it. Although the super rich have more money than they can shake a stick at to which they probably stash in a tax-free haven.

I moved from UK to a low tax country. I will never go back to UK as long as the tax is like it is. Oh, and public services are all 10x better in my low tax country than in UK. It's just incredible you can see people fleeing UK and you think the solution is MORE tax.

Definitely agree with you that life in the UK is becoming more difficult and unsustainably expensive - not a great place to live if you're just starting your career and therefore on low-ish wages. Indonesia is ridiculously cheap in comparison.

He does realise that the reason people head to places like Bali because of the high taxes right..? That his idea to increases taxes isn't going to suddenly make them fly back 😂 decent wages mean the factors listed are erased with things like private medical.
