Once popular was a mastoid approach by the ear. unfortunately the tumors are not always so contrasting in color and then you have to avoid important structures and nerves and reduce margins if needed. Preserve brain/function.

Brain surgery is rarely successful. It's always associated with some or other kind of complications. Patients also die during operation.
