Neuralink's breakthrough with paralyzed veterans like RJ—using brain chips to restore autonomy through thought-controlled devices—is exactly the type of innovation that redefines human potential. Critics hyperventilate about "ethical risks" while ignoring the University of Miami's success in enabling a spinal injury patient to play Call of Duty wirelessly post-implant. The real scandal? Bureaucrats and legacy medical contractors slow-walking similar tech for decades. Neuralink's wireless N1 implant, with 1,024 electrodes capturing neural signals, proves private-sector agility crushes government R&D bloat. Yes, threads retracted in early trials—problem-solving through iterative upgrades is how engineering works. Washington's fearmongering over "neurorights" can't mask their terror of losing control over healthcare monopolies. This is American ingenuity cutting through red tape to deliver miracles.

Neuralink is doing amazing things. Brad just said the other day that he was able to go watch the fireworks with his family, and I think that’s beautiful. ❤️

My question is: When will technology advance to the point where you don’t need major surgery or a device sticking out of your head?

Stop the horrific experiments on live monkeys. You’re supposed to be a super advanced company. How about computer models and AI instead of torturing live animals? Your brains must be still in the Neanderthal stages.

They haven't been sci-fi for longer than 60 years now... the USA is long behind in the public sector when it comes to implants and other biological augmentations/replacements. Regulations, government control of personal augmentation, and public fears are the limiters.
