@pmcafrica No bus producing company in SA mos

@pmcafrica Why not set one up? We have talented people in South Africa who are not given any opportunities.

@KhethaniXimba @pmcafrica Jenna, who must set that up?

@KhethaniXimba @pmcafrica You are going to set it up. You don't believe in yourself?

@KhethaniXimba @pmcafrica Return to your earliest response. You blamed the government for not doing that, why?

@CalvinPhiri8 @KhethaniXimba @pmcafrica Ok take it...

@pmcafrica Is there local bus brand in SA?

@pmcafrica Government had 29 years to set one up... hence the question, why not support local?

@pmcafrica Are you for real, tell me how should intercape support local on this one?

@jenna_original @pmcafrica Akaziva naye😅

@jenna_original @pmcafrica Tchini uqhunyiwe na lomntana 😂😂

Scania Truck & Buses SA does not Manufacturer the i6s Plus, you pay then it's shipped 😉

we proposed this policy for kenya where @NYS_Ke employ youth to build, operate & maintain electric buses for public transport since kenyans have totally ignored, @EFFSouthAfrica can adopt it & build SA we have other proposals for waste management, social housing, forestry etc

Even the branding was done in Spain 😭😭 They couldn’t even give branding to locals 🚮

Many reasons - - unions, making a mess of the auto industry and causing high labour costs. - no electricity, contrary to popular belief, we need stable electricity to make busses. - poked rail infrastructure, how do you transport these busses? - when and if you get them to port… will the port be working? This is the reality of doing anything in za…

@pmcafrica Because Africans expect someone else to open a plant in their country, just not them. It's not the government that invests in the economy its private citizens!

Irizar buses are made in Brazil for the SA market They also have a production centre here in SA which I think is responsible for fitting the chassis of the busses as some come without one

@VusiSambo South Africa does not have vehicle manufacturing companies, the car plants that we have are all owned by foreign companies anyway.

@pmcafrica Easy Do not ride on @IntercapeBus Punish them

Irizar, their manufacturer has a factory in Centurion, maybe the scale/pricing Intercape wanted meant they will be built elsewhere

You guys blindly accept smear campaigns it’s embarrassing 🤦🏿♂️ Do we have a bus manufacturing company in South Africa?

Local doesn't build them like Irizar & Marco Polo... But Quantum is heavily supported...

They are creating employment for their people in Europe

Set up the plant, we will get behind you

✊🏾

@Julius_S_Malema no company in SA can produce such luxurious machines ,they make Putco and Rea vaya

@VusiSambo Local don't manufacture. They assembly.

Support local, which local?

Local black South African🇿🇦 government and all other entities, destroyed every single aspect that was working in SA in such a short time. So how is this ever possible building busses in South Africa and keep it running successfully?? ”Only one word comes to mind, Nepotism”

How much are these buses

These buses are from Brazil, we have a working relationship with Brazil and also export our own more rugged buses to them - stop misleading people.

As I understand communist theory, the “means of production" is collectively owned by the people in a community, to insure that all the people will get the products that they themselves desire. Therefore, just get the community together and make it happen.

.@Tg_MMOTONG45 come make a submission

Local will be supported by encouraging to bring passengers. Drivers also not to employed from Spain. So is the ticketing guys and ticket paper and payment of tollgates etc 😂😂

Jen jen, I'm happy to set up one with you. I'll run the spreadsheets 😛

You run the spreadsheets, I will get the funding... hows that?

Ok, now we need someone to do the research for me 🫢

@jenna_original Coming guys, I can run the operations and EHS. Come we can do this. Come on gents.

@SolutioNest1 😂😂

Lol. If you can make them cheaper then why don’t you manufacture the buses bright spark? And deal with labour unions and load shedding and no water and still pay gazillions in tax.

Atleast they bought busses , when last did city to city and Translux buy a bus?

They didn't even want to brand it in SA.

If I can correctly remember Before 1994 there was a company in Cape Town called BUSAF who used to build busses.

No one manufactures buses in SA
