Brandon Nimmo says playing in Texas helped him see how completely different it is compared to playing in New York "It's twofold. You do really well there, it's awesome. It's a double-edged sword. You do poorly, just be ready to own up to it and admit you did poorly"

Miss that guy. But it allowed Benge and Ewing to play every day.

It would be nice to have a guy like Brandon in the SNY booth one day

What a classy guy. We miss him greatly.

As honest as it gets. He should still be wearing blue and orange.

Love Nimmo, wish Stearns never traded him

Hopefully the POBO is listening to this before he thinks he can just punch some player’s numbers into his spreadsheet and think they’ll perform the same in NY.

Realest answer ever, it is NOT for everyone

Always very insightful.

Class act

such a good dude 💙🧡

Spoken like a guy who misses being a Met.

@SNYtv Excellent interview Brandon said what I have said all year NY not for everyone if you look at this yrs group for Mets / Yankees the guys who previously played in NY succeed the others struggled

You are the best, Brandon

Basically the media is the problem

What a real one. Love this dude

Who cares?

So, how do we as fans make it easier? Would love to be an asset rather than contribute to the wear.

Trading him and not resigning Alonso were the two dumbass moves that changed the entire vibe of this team. Two homegrown Mets that could perform in NY, were leaders, and were well liked by fans. Stearns had no appreciation for the intangibles that make up team chemistry

@SNYtv The casuals whine about greedy Pete. THIS man is the one we were absolutely moronic to let go. Should have been named Captain rather than being traded. 🙄

Really appreciated his transparency and love he had/has for the city

@JConstantinides He’s so lovely. He is excellent in dealing with the press.
