Musa Kamarawa, in the video, revealed that although he is from Sokoto, he was appointed as a Senior Special Assistant by Bello Matawalle when Matawalle was governor. He explained that he was once arrested but later released after it was established that he had no direct ties with bandits. According to him, he only acted as a middleman between former Governor Matawalle and various bandit groups on Matawalle’s instructions. She said he only reposted the message from another account on X. She also said that when he later realized the post was false and could cause harm, he quickly made an apology post and even tagged Tony Elumelu.
