Caved in and finished this full 2.5-minute short film using Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Preview. 🎥 The inspiration for this is deeply personal. When I was a teenager, my grandma fell into a coma before passing. I used to wonder what she was dreaming about, and thought it would be beautiful if she was just reliving her best moments. In the full video a female banker is clearly trying to protect herself while a man is misbehaving and attempting to manhandle her. Instead of stopping her husband even the wife was arguing and behaving rudely. This is the reality bankers face daily customers cross the line and still expect bankers to stay silent and tolerate everything. She did not stay silent. She stood strong. She defended her dignity. She even asked the wife why she is not stopping her husband. That is courage. That is self respect. That is what every banker feels inside but is often forced to suppress. But what did social media do They cut the entire context and only showed the line where she said “I am Thakur don’t do this bullshit with me” just to create controversy and hide the real issue which is misbehaviour harassment and daily humiliation faced by bankers. Being a banker myself I am proud of her. Yes proud. Because we need more bankers who can stand up against wrong behaviour instead of silently suffering abuse in the name of customer service. The rise of AI technology and deepfakes pose a large risk to the financial services industry. The tipping point for Indian financial services businesses was when onboarding became completely digital, thanks to Aadhaar, etc. For businesses onboarding a new customer, an important aspect is ensuring that the documents and the person opening the account are real. The normal process that's followed today is to fetch the ID or address proof data from the source using Digilocker and or Aadhaar. Also, match the face from this ID proof with the person opening the account through a webcam. Today, we have a bunch of checks in place to check for liveliness and if the other person is real or not. But as the deepfakes improve, I think it will only become harder over time to validate if the person on the other side is real or AI-generated. This problem will be bigger for banks that have more stringent regulatory requirements during onboarding. It will be interesting to see how the regulations around this evolve. Going back to the physical way of opening accounts will bring the growth of the entire sector to an abrupt stop. And the video isn’t me; it is a deep fake. 😬

🚨This is very disturbing. ICE agents were filmed assaulting MULTIPLE children, who are U.S. citizens, in Edinburg, TX. In the video, agents are standing around a group of children. One agent shoves a girl out of the way… then punches a 16-year-old in the face. A child. And then it gets worse… A few minutes later, you can see agents escorting a man from his house… and you can hear people yelling: “Where is the warrant?” Because this isn’t complicated… under the Fourth Amendment, you don’t get to enter someone’s home and take them without a warrant. A home is where your rights are strongest. And instead of showing a warrant… they continue to kidnap the man. Meanwhile, ANOTHER minor, already hit by an agent, has blood dripping from his nose… throws his arms around the man being kidnapped… while repeating: You need a warrant! A kid… bleeding… having to remind grown federal agents what the Constitution says. And then it gets even worse. The video then shows an agent going after a 14-year-old girl… claiming she assaulted him… After he was just caught on video assaulting multiple minors. He shoves her head down… yanks her by the arm… then grabs her by the hair. As they’re telling him… over and over… “She’s 14. She’s a minor.” He doesn’t stop, or de-escalate. He keeps going… until another agent steps in and handcuffs her. Fully grown men are seen… Shoving children. Punching children. Dragged, restrained, and pulling children by the hair… And claiming the CHILDREN are the threats. But, in reality… this is excessive force against minors. This is due process being ignored in real time. This is what it looks like when people with authority decide the Constitution is more of a suggestion than a limit. And before anyone jumps in with the usual… “we don’t know the full story” No. There is no version of this where punching a child in the face is standard procedure. There is no version where you enter a home, don’t show a warrant, and start pulling people out. There is no version where putting hands on a 14-year-old like that is justified. This is what real respect for a president looks like. He never needed to cancel comedians or extort media companies, Fortune 500 CEOs or trusted trading partners. He never bent the knee to Vladimir Putin, a convicted war criminal. He never blamed the victim of an illegal invasion for having caused a conflict. He never instigated a federal sales tax on every American calling it a tariff and pretended foreign countries paid the bill. And he certainly did not preside over the biggest transfer of wealth from the bottom to the top in American history. He never removed the healthcare and SNAP payments of millions of Americans, while removing consumer and environmental protections against clean air and clean water. He never pretended prices were going down when they were going up. He never threatened to invade Canada, Greenland or Panama. He never setup a crypto bribe pipeline and earned $5 billion in his first 6 months in office, by using the seal of the President to extort those seeking access to favors. He never deployed the military to American cities and condoned the abduction of people by masked men from the streets, and he never deported people to concentration camps. He never defunded universities, scientific research including for childhood cancer and never endangered the lives of children by the integrating conspiracy theories into critical vaccines programs for preventable childhood diseases. He never removed the right to bodily autonomy for women or forced them to risk death to preserve an unviable fetus. Or to face imprisonment for a miscarriage. He never tried to ban access to medicated abortion, or try to limit access to contraception. He never tore up the Rose Garden and paved over it with concrete and cheap looking parasols. He never decorated the Oval Office like a 17th Century French brothel, and he definitely did not sell American citizenship. He never committed crimes against the English language and sentence structure. And was never a laughing stock on the world stage, neither did he travel abroad to lecture world leaders on the free speech he was denying his own citizens. He never gave a speech before a monarch during which people cringed and wanted to crawl into a hole with embarrassment for him. He did however win the heart of Queen Elizabeth II who asked him if he would return to visit after his presidency. He did visit Buckingham Palace three times and the Queen allowed his daughters to sit in the Royal carriage as an enduring sign of her affection for him and his family. He was never a fan of wearing orange face paint or living on Big Macs and full sugar Coca-Cola. Oh and did I mention he didn’t cheat at golf? He never lost a presidential election and won the Nobel Peace prize, as well as numerous international honors, and did speak to a joint gathering of the Lords and the Commons in the historic Westminster hall at the Houses of Parliament. But in the spirit of balance, he DID wear a tan suit! Was guilty of being the most popular president in American history and could speak using full sentences, cadence with oratory dynamics.
