I've lived off and on in Germany for 40 years and I've never paid their retarded TV license scam. It was extremely rare that I watched it, maybe twice a month, yet they claimed to have evidence I watched it daily. Impossible. I thought they were discontinuing the scam.

You need a TV licence to watch live TV or BBC programs regardless if live TV is live through a TV box like Virgin Media for example or YouTube. However, you don't need it to watch Netflix on demand content or live content not from a registered TV broadcaster.
