@SpanishDan1 Is it considered dangerous if you have to swerve into the oncoming lane to avoid a succession of potholes that if you drove through them you’d not only damage your tyres but totally knacker your car? Asking for a concerned driver in the Highlands!

It's not enough to fix the potholes, you need to tackle the source of the water causing the problem and often it isn't so the road breaks up again. As usual, cuts mean councils can only afford the former, if at all, and not the latter
