It seems like a thing for seed phrases to be attacked recently 👀, @Tangem we know you guys don't really promote a seed phrase, BUT for those that will read this comment & have used a seed phrase when setting up a Tangem wallet. Question: Can one remove the seed Phrase on a @Tangem wallet, if one was set when the wallet was being set up ?

@Tangem This is false. This has nothing to do with seed phrases not being secure. All wallets utilize entropy. A seed phrase is simply a human readable version of the entropy

I'm glad you responded. I don't use Tangem but I do have a Ballet metal card that I like. I've been looking for a home since the CoinKite failures. I really like the simplicity of a card wallet. Tangem, fits the bill in many ways but not having a desktop version kills it for me.

I don't get it—a cold wallet costs only $60(Ledger wallet), so why use a hot wallet just out of laziness?

People act like hackers want xrp.. mabe xrp is the only one with the loophole in the rails or in the code to constantly be stolen off of all these wallets and platforms.. because I don’t here about other coins being jacked.. it would be hard for a human do get this done

There’s no proof that’s the case I don’t believe that’s the issue… Because even if you generated the seed phrase on a hardware wallet and then import it into the DCENT app, DCENT is saying that seed is no longer safe

Oh sorry, I misunderstood your video I thought you had said in that case you would be safe. If its Xrp possibly malicious Escrow transactions? I know wallets like Xaman automatically block those from users clicking on them.

If you have a hard wallet and created your seed phrase on the hard wallet it is safe If you created your seed phrase on the Dcent app wallet then you could be affected. Open Dcent Select your wallet manage wallets You’ll see: Bio wallets Card App wallet (here be careful)

Decent should had learned from ELLIPAL when their mobile hot wallet was hacked. ELLIPAL did away with they hot wallet. Why would any company that specializes in cold wallets and promote crypto safety have a hot wallet?

I still have confidence in DCent and won’t fall for the hype. One of your golden rules is never store large sums crypto on a hot wallet move it to a hardware wallet and never combine the two.

The guy is bashing a hardware biometric wallet but at the same time is promoting a card wallet which connects through NFC - so secure ! Amazing ...
