#BREAKING Polk City man arrested for traveling to have sex with a 16-year-old girl On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, PCSO deputies apprehended 28-year-old Jordan Becker of Polk City, after he travelled to Pennsylvania to pick up a 16-year-old girl whom he met and groomed online then brought back to his home in Polk County. According to the affidavit, Becker met the victim through online video gaming with her brother. Becker stated that he was in a relationship with the victim, calling her his girlfriend. He could not recall the exact date he drove to Pennsylvania to pick her up, but that it was sometime in June. On July 21, 2026, the victim’s brother reported her missing and gave the tip that he believed she was with Becker in Polk City. On the same day the call was received, PCSO deputies made contact with Becker and the victim at his residence. Becker admitted to knowing she was underage but stated that he loved her, and that is why he did it. He also admitted to having sexual intercourse with her at least three times. The victim stated she did not tell her mother where she was going for fear of her being upset. Her family believed she was still in Pennsylvania staying at a friend’s house. Becker was arrested and charged with 3 counts of unlawful sexual activity with a minor (F2), travelling to meet a minor (F2), contributing to the delinquency of a child (M1), unlawful use of a two-way communication device (F3), and interference with custody from a parent (F3). “He drove all the way to Pennsylvania and brought her back to Polk County. This is an extremely frightening situation that easily could have ended much worse. It is a stark reminder of why parents must closely monitor their children’s online activity. The victim’s brother did exactly the right thing by calling us.” — Grady Judd, Sheriff
