@mikecoffield Your a idiot claiming to know anything, CVR records over itself every 30 minutes! There will be no CVR for the time of the incident on the Israeli flight that made emergency landing in Saudi Arabia, any commercial pilot knows this!

Passengers cannot run into a modern planes cockpit to stop brawling pilots. Omani pilot tried crashing the plane. Indian captain takes control of the plane, was stabbed in the process, opens cockpit door and asks for help. Freaking this is what happened.

📍During the flight, the co-pilot, an Omani national of a #Boeing737Max8 carrying 180 passengers attempted to crash the aircraft by attacking the captain with a knife. This caused the plane to suddenly plummet rapidly, dropping approx 14,000 to 16,000 feet within 2 to 3 minutes. Realizing the situation was escalating, some courageous Israeli passengers & cabin crew members broke down the cockpit door & subdued the attacking pilot. After the emergency code for a hijacking (7500) was transmitted, the aircraft was immediately diverted to the nearby Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Airport (Tabuk) in #SaudiArabia & landed safely! All passengers are safe. Both injured pilots have been admitted to a hospital in Tabuk. Israeli PM #BenjaminNetanyahu & security agencies ie #Mossad & #ShinBet are continuously coordinating to ensure the passengers' safe return to #Israel..😷🍁

A safe landing is a major relief for everyone aboard. The reported cockpit attack and the attacker’s intent should be established through the ongoing investigation and evidence

There was no altercation. There was an attempted Islamic terrorist attack.

It appears to be nothing more than a foolish, personal conflict between the Emirati pilot and his Omani co-pilot—a dispute that escalated to the point where the co-pilot attempted to crash the plane in retaliation for the Emirati pilot's rude behavior toward him.

That’s not the same plane. The tail is still fully intact u like the hijacked one that is missing the rudder

WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT THE INCIDENT ON BOARD THE DUBAI-TEL AVIV FLIGHT Israel is treating the incident on the flydubai flight FZ 1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv as a "terror incident." According to Israeli officials, shortly after entering Jordanian airspace, the Omani co-pilot stabbed the Emirati pilot and attempted to take control of the plane by force. The pilots are not from Russia and Ukraine, as initially believed. During the altercation, the pilot transmitted a general emergency signal and then another emergency signal that indicated possible hijacking, as the aircraft was diverted towards Saudi Arabia and plunged 14,000 feet (approximately 4,200 meters) in a single minute, before landing at Tabuk Airport in northwestern Saudi Arabia. Israeli passengers and the flight crew who heard the altercation coming from the cockpit managed to subdue the co-pilot, whose intent remains unknown at this stage. It is unclear what the pilot was attempting—whether to hijack the plane to Israel, crash it into the ground, or carry out a 9/11-style attack. What is clear is that he wanted to hijack the plane and that a major disaster was averted, an Israeli official said. The 150 Israeli passengers are currently waiting to be shuttled to Israel, as flydubai says it has sent an alternative plane. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz cancelled a visit to southern Israel and are holding security discussions.
