It shows the victim of the attack who had already been arrested being escorted to the police car, with a female officer calling him a “dick”, before he's put into the police vehicle the wrong way. From start to finish, the whole incident appears to have been handled poorly. In my view, the police should stop doubling down, acknowledge that serious questions have been raised, apologise if mistakes were made, and carry out a full, transparent investigation into what went wrong. Public confidence isn't restored by telling people not to share the footage. It's restored by showing accountability when policing appears to fall below the standard the public expects.
